an additional question had occured to me whilst i was watching this video: would we be able to use оказываться in a context denoting that a person or a thing had gone through trials and tribulations of a certain chain of events and ended up in becoming something or doing something for example "for the past two months he had taken job interviews one after another (as in, although not readily interchangeable, or ) for a post in public relations department in the ministery"
Hi Omer, the verb “оказаться” would not be suitable for this sentence. I would translate the sentence as: “В течение последних двух месяцев он проходил одно за другим собеседования и в итоге был принят на работу в отделе по связям с общественностью министерства.” I hope this helps!
this was so helpful thank you yelena!
I’m very glad to hear that! Let me know if you have any further questions!
Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You're most welcome
