Took my wife to an NXT house show, years ago. I wanted her to get a taste of live wrestling, to help her understand my love for it. A group of teenage fans behind us kept trying to start ironic chants like "ropes are yellow" all throughout the show, screaming them as loudly as they could, and never taking the hint that no one else was joining in. Well deserved #1 spot, especially since Rollins and Ziggler were absolutely killing it with their matches over the IC Championship that summer and this should have been the climax, but got turned into an anticlimax.
One could say SOME of this was fan exhaustion over Vince booking no longer being interesting or bothering to care if they even have an opinion And I’m not saying this in the fact we as fans know better but it’s the fact Vince believes he knows better and even when we show signs of wanting him to at least try something else or his own people will, like Batista pointed out, he’ll tell you to f&$# off and will do it his way regardless and be REALLY petty as well

It's pretty sad when you think about it cause even though Roman reigns won next year he still got a negative reactions from the fans cause he was pushed to the moon at that time, That even the rock couldn't let the fans cheer him. While Daniel Bryan, Even though he won at Mania 30 he had to vacate the titles cause of his injury.

The fans made Daniel Bryan a star sure, I'm proud of him as well but people didn't noticed the fact that they buried Batista's career on that moment and screwed over the entire match just because what they wanted did not happen on-screen. News flash Daniel Bryan was feuding with Bray Wyatt around that time and not everything that you want should be booked so you can call it a good show. That Royal Rumble match was sabotaged by toxic fans with their will of forcing their booking fantasies.
They only “wanted” Roman in 2014 cause he represented a last glimmer of hope for at the very least doing something different. And what can I say? Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson just resonates with fans. He’s just that beloved. Most everyone just wanted to see him succeed.

Interesting to see that the most recent entry was in 2018. Cos a year later AEW started and all the toxic fans went over there instead. Even the awful 2022 Rumble didn't get the reaction that some of these better matches on the list did
@bhaskunju306 So you're saying the AEW fans bought a ticket to WWE to troll? Regardless, it also happened at Survivor series in 21 and that was New York iirc.
LOL was the second match the one where they chanted Randy Savage? I remember Orton looking up at hearing his name then cracking up at his face when the crowd chanted Savage
This list doesn't have the spot where the lady held up her kid for the crowd to pop each time she did it. Completely ruined that match (no I don't remember who was fighting lol).
What I don't like is when fans chant "boring" at a match, even if the wrestlers are trying their best to get them into their match. I just feel, "Well, if you are that bored, DO SOMETHING ELSE THEN!" Go to the bathroom, go get stuff from the concession's stand, take a walk, play on your phone, you can do literally anything else that is far less rude then chanting "boring." But, I know they won't because, as Tempest asked, "Do they actually think they are spoiled little brats?"

Nakamura vs. Jeff Hardy lasted six seconds, my friend went to the bathroom and missed the entire match. We just didn't want to be there anymore.
Brock vs Roman at Mania 34 isn't amazing but it was a pretty good match, problem is NO ONE wanted to see those 2 face off again which is completely understandable. Thanks to a few idiot fans, we may never get to see another iron man match in WWE again. Granted, NXT booked an iron man match two years ago but that was during the pandemic when there were no fans present.
Notice how none of these are from after 2019. AEW was kinda a blessing in that it all the smarky assholes who used to go to WWE shows to ruin them now had another company to watch, instead of religiously watching a show they claim to absolutely despise everything about.
@@blacksabbath2024 To be honest, 2019 was a DOG CRAP year and it was the year that WWE fans turned heel after that Hell In A Cell ending fiasco and, not to mention, the disastrous release of WWE 2K20 all in one month, to which they eventually decided to cheer for villains instead of heroes since then. So who was the first hero the WWE fans chose to bully and harrass? Seth Rollins! And what heel did they first cheer after that? 2/3/4/8 I don't blame the fans on that.
I do, because they're spoiled indie kids
I approve of most of these because those decisions were really really shitty
Well except for first and the one with a fan going on Eddie, tf!
If you spend the last 20+ years ignoring your audience, the fans have every right to ‘hijack’ and ‘ruin’ things.
acting like entitled cockheads is never justified
This list could've just been 10 random matches in Philly, honestly.
Before watching this, you could basically put over half of the Summerslam 2004 card
any event in Corpus Cristi is often wrecked by the dead fans!
thats why you have to book to the city your in
To be fair, that belt really does suck.
The match is more important than the title
For the number 1 I mean I kinda get where tempest is coming from but at the same time didn’t we see enough of Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins ?
With the way a lot of fans act I can't really blame Vince for thinking we're all idiots.
Rollins and Ambrose vs The Bar-Summer Slam
Thankfully Cesaro Jump the barricade and rip apart the beach ball
Thunder Dome
Thanks to a few idiot fans, we may never get to see another iron man match in WWE again. Granted, NXT booked an iron man match two years ago but that was during the pandemic when there were no fans present.
I get calling Alberto del rio “notable prick” but why not the same whenever Benoit is brought up
Touchy subject probably, not sure
1/2 OF THE CRUISERWEIGHT MATCHES IN WCW
Oh come on this is literally an Adam style list ffs why is Tempest here
Notice how none of these are from after 2019. AEW was kinda a blessing in that it all the smarky assholes who used to go to WWE shows to ruin them now had another company to watch, instead of religiously watching a show they claim to absolutely despise everything about.
To be fair after 2019 they had a year of no fans in attendance lol, you're giving aew too much credit, thank covid instead
Seth Rollins (when he eventually transformed into a Messiah and bringing back that laugh that every WWE fan loved and craved so much).
Don’t lie, that belt sucks. Still does now.
The fans turning on the first Goldberg vs Lesnar match and Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins match was really stupid and petty. I get people didn't liked the universal championship when it first came out but it's really stupid to ruined the match and the Goldbergs Lesnar one was more stupid I'm pretty sure Lesnar and Goldberg just gave up on the match when fans started booing them all because they were leaving
Lesnar vs Reigns at WM 34 ruined itself just fine…
And yet we wonder why we don't deserve nice things
