  • our first hot day of summer ended with the good thunder storm with clear sunny skies at bedtime. but at 3am, we got another thunder storm and then rains until 11am. this worked out good with the rains making it an office morning which i figured out the parts list for the D7 4T caterpillar dozer known as Jack. the winch was a bit of a problem figuring out the over engineered oil seal but easier to figure it out now then at -40c of -40f temperatures. the staff arrived to help with the last of the pallets going in the storage trailers. also Amazon has my 10th book "Where is the Money" in my winter-ice roads book series on for being free as an eBook from July11-15 2024, please click on link below to enjoy. thansk

You are wise, young grasshopper, ordering those seals now. Come winter-time, you'll have all the parts ready to go for your shop.

Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ it's nice to see how you go about all your research, and come up with the correct parts even though some of them don't exist 👍 I too am glad the heat wave is over, I believe I was traumatized seeing you and your summer attire 😂 I spent 10 hours yesterday swapping rollers and supports from a rusted out trailer to one that I got for free online for my 71 Grady-White. With a little retro fitting and modification it'll work fine. Yes I did this in the 88 degree weather at 96% humidity, I was dripping sweat like a faucet all day 😂 thank you for another great video Joey and Xena ✌️🇺🇲🇨🇦

thank you, sharing knowledge on how we do things to get a project done will hopefully help others. to buy one of those heavy duty seal would be very expensive. glad you survived a day of working in the heat, the humidity makes it so much worse plus you are surrounded by the ocean so that makes it even more humid. thansk

Hi Joey, Thanks for another vid. I have heard the’re not cheap these days but could a speedy sleave go over the short shaft where the seal lips have put grooves and select a seal number with a slightly larger diameter lip that might be a standard size? Watching and Learning. Thanks again. All the best!

    • @kingofobsolete4789

I got the tiniest mosquitoes ever Mr. King. Uranotaenia sapphirina. 2.4 - 2.7 mm long. That's 1/10th of an inch. Can't hardly see um, just find the bumps after a few minutes. Oh Well, at least they aren't loaded with some kind of laboratory grown Gain-of-Function virus. (This is an election year again you know.) tnx 4 da vid eh. ben/ michigan
