She is improving, but issues remain. Pets can't tell us exactly how they feel, so they suffer. Best of luck for Georgie Girl and yourself. Pets are very fine friends for those that live alone.
So sorry to learn of Georgie Girl being so unwell, Austen. Thank you for the update. We will keep our fingers crossed for you and Georgie. We understand how much our animal companions become our family. Take the best care of yourself so you can give the best care to Georgie Girl.
O Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, Physician of all living things, who through thy love and compassion doth heal all manner of sickness and affliction: do thou O Lord visit this Georgie of her suffering and heal her of every sickness and affliction. Amen Love to you both from a fellow cat lover
I understand 100%; my wife and I have had 8 dogs and 2 cats (all but one were rescues) in our 27 years together, and whenever one is ill, it rocks our world and we don't sleep. PS, because of the medications we are both on, which are likely excreted when we pee, we make sure to keep the toilet lids closed so that none of our dogs get exposed to traces of our medication. Pets can have a very different and unpleasant reaction to human meds and things we eat; not sure about cats, but sugar-free candies or gum sweetened with sugar alcohols like Sorbitol and Xylitol can cause canine blood sugar to plummet, with deadly results. I use special, artificially-sweetened "anti-drymouth" lozenges at night while I sleep so that my mouth doesn't dry out from the use of a CPAP machine, and because I might drool a little in my sleep (an example of how pet owners often come to resemble their pets😉) I have to wash my face and beard immediately when I get up before one of the dogs licks my face. Anyway, an automatic or gravity-fed water bowl might be a good idea for Georgie, especially if you are on any medications. Hope she recovers soon!

Best of luck to you. If she's showing some improvement and drinking water, those are great signs. Cats are very resilient, hang in there!
