@@AstronautAdventureRiders Summer, street and touring riding, Bohn mesh top and bottom gear. Good stuff. Cold winter riding, 2nd hand Gerbing head to toe. I’m looking at a new set of MSR Explorer jacket and pants. I wish they offered a hi visibility color. Safe riding ✌️
I’m 6’1 200lbs and I got the large and it definitely fit me but was a little tight across my back and I wouldn’t have been able to layer much underneath it so I returned it for an XL and man, the size difference is massive. I’m swimming in the XL! There is so much room in the belly and across the back I had to double check and make sure they didn’t send me an XXL. It’s like a tent on me, even with the adjusters all the way in but at the end of the day I don’t mind because now I can layer a puffer jacket underneath it. Other than the crazy jump in sizing I have no other complaints. I rode 400 miles in the pouring rain all day long and I stayed bone dry.
That’s interesting that there was such a jump in sizing. Yeah for the colder months it’s really crucial to be able to layer. Good to hear it’s working for you! Thanks for watching
What do you wear for riding gear? Let me know! Also, If you like the video don't forget to subscribe! Thanks for watching!

I have been very happy with mine MSR jacket as well.
Quality gear for sure!
The only problem is that they do not make pants that would fit someone that would wear the XL, XXL or XXXL jackets.
I believe they go up to a 42”. I’m not sure what other brands offer in the larger sizes.
I just got the XXXL jacket and 42 pants and they fit great.
Do the chest pockets allow for any armor padding?
No, they do not.
I'm not even in the market for adventure gear, just like watching people ride their Tuaregs 😂
Haha well you came to the right place!
@@AstronautAdventureRidersI have a Tuareg as well, just no videos on it yet. It's just an automatic smile machine.
@@americandirtrider7662 It’s a hell of a lot of fun!
