For a minute I thought I was watching Heavy Rescue, on the Weather Channel. Seriously though, have you though about buying an old wrecker? You would have an air compressor, the ability to jump start engines, and a strong wench. It would be easy to move cars around your VW compound. And what's one more vehicle anyway? 👍....good idea , I tried to slide an 8 ft piece of plywood under the car but the ground was uneven and still kinda frozen . I put the smaller sections under the rear and slid it on those , good tip though👍

The " wood " bug being resurrected & transported to Volkswagen Central ... 1970 first year with the large front turn/side lights. Only year with the rear reflectors mounted on the bumper. This Beetle has reflectors in taillight cluster. Also has the air vent behind side windows. Check the VIN # as this would appear to be a 1971 model VW Beetle. Possibility of a late 1970 model that incorporated 1971 features toward end of 1970 production. Slainte' ! Cheers !
I love to see that you share a lot of time with your son. Don't forget the years go by pretty quickly. As I remember me and my son every weekend in the car wash. I had a 1990 Ford Mustang 5.0 it was black on black. Every time I grab my keys he wouldn't leave my side miss those days God bless you and your family take care.

I have done that my self a few times,Dropped in with a project on a trailer on the way home to get the worst of the dirt off. Some places drew the line at engines on trailers getting cleaned though.
