I was just waiting for stop motion studio the whole time! Growing into it was exactly what I did! Slowly learning to adjust the framerate and such stuff sas really fun!
To be honest, I think Stop Motion Studio is all you need to make some great videos! I'm sure you'd agree that there's a lot more to making a video than just the app you use. @@mushroomobsessedguy3419 yo this doesn’t work any more, when I made the response above it did, but then the developers released an update that fixed the bug so unless you had the app installed before the update you can’t get the features for free.

Great video Thomas! These were some great suggestions! I always use stop motion studio for my stop motions. I payed money to add the green screen and the draw/erase option.

I started by animating blind from my camera and then moved to stop motion studio. I think the app is great and you can tailor your control level with your skill level (I used to use all focus controls on auto and have moved over to manual). I also felt that the price of the app was worth it for everything you can do. I have it on my mind that I would like to eventually upgrade to a real camera and software on my computer- would you consider a tutorial like an Intro to dragon frame, or more about the tools you use for animating (software, step, camera, etc.) I have seen features in your tutorials that I think would be great -like seeing the audio wave file while animating- but I feel like I would still feel overwhelmed by upgrading something and having the chance to see someone else's setup can be super helpful to not feel as blind.
Dragonframe was overwhelming for me when I first got it, but I really think using Stop Motion Studio helped me at least understand the concepts. Honestly, Stop Motion Studio is such a powerful app... I still use it because it can do so much! I still don't use about 90% of what Dragonframe can do lol. I think Stop Motion Studio is excellent... there are some incredible Brickfilms made with that and the phone. What is it that you want to do with Dragonframe? Thank you for watching the tutorials. Coming back to it I think what I really would find resourceful now (and not dragonframe) would be adding in things like cgi fire, or a digital alarm clock, a pip like you do when death and Thomas watch tv. I know those are all different things, but the post production stuff is where I feel I'm lacking most. And of course I keep watching, your videos are very funny and your tutorials are very easy to follow along with. Please keep doing your thing!

When having a gun, before putting the muzzle flash put a stud first, take a picture, then put the lazer beam or flash on it. I always wish a big success for you.

Your videos look great! Regarding the lighting, I would suggest just before every picture, make sure there aren't any big shadows in the shot. Otherwise they look good! Very fun videos :)

How are you saving the video? It looks like you’re screen recording it rather than exporting it. The bottom bar is there because you need to export the video. On the main screen, select the video and choose export. That should do it! 👍

Thanks for another great video. This makes me so happy that I started with Stop Motion Studio. I didn't mind paying the $5 for the extra things and I have been using it since I started. I don't want to change because I know how to use it and I even know how to work around the little glitches that come up with it. It has worked really well for my dragon stories. I had no idea there were stop motion programs where you couldn't change your frame rate or use onion skin. That's awful. Frutz wuz here.

Stop motion studio lets you reverse any given number of frames whether that be 2 or 200
I’ve been using Stop Motion Studio for years, and I still think it’s great.

For my phone I build a stand out of LEGO. It allows the camera to be at a low height and stay stable. 😊
Is there a type of putty you would recommend I use in videos?
I use Alene’s Instant Tacky. I like it because it’s white, but I think any mounting putty will work!

I prefer iMotion because you get a decent amount of good features and is easy to edit :)
iMotion is a great app! Yes it has some good features! I had fun using it. Are you working on anything right now?

Thanks for another great video. This makes me so happy that I started with Stop Motion Studio. I didn't mind paying the $5 for the extra things and I have been using it since I started. I don't want to change because I know how to use it and I even know how to work around the little glitches that come up with it. It has worked really well for my dragon stories. I had no idea there were stop motion programs where you couldn't change your frame rate or use onion skin. That's awful. Frutz wuz here.
Stop Motion Studio is so awesome! I didn't mind paying the $5 either. I learned so much using it and I still use it! There are features on it that I haven't even touched yet... like the mouth movements! So cool! Glad you're well and staying safe!
