I do love the blood drip effect, where you add a drip of blood every frame but i never thought of the laptop background, im definitely going to try that, maybe with a monitor so i can have a bigger scene
Another way to do blood without ruining minifigs, just use blu tack on them and colour it in with red felt tip pen. It works well and looks pretty realistic.
I really like the rain idea! One thing that you didn't say at all is making the figures talk, that might be worth it's own video. But I think you should do something on that.
Nice video but using a vaping device for smoke is definitely not safe and you shouldn’t even be recommending that to people, instead you can use vfx and or other methods like a humidifier potentially. It’s a horrible idea for many reasons.

Btw for @5:58, the panning shots, incase the table surface is small or the set is too big and has a lot of things that can fall if moved, my suggestion is to use the camera on tracks technique, it's a technique used by all film industries. Basically what you do is build a track at whatever distance from the set on the base plate using flat tiles and make sure it's the same width as the camera's base and then place the camera base onto the track. Then shoot away

I tried to do a rain effect in one of my earlier videos, it was coupled with a wave crashing onto the set so it was constantly drenched lol. The lighting wasn’t good enough to really make any of it out, though.
Hmmm you gotta make sure you’re on the right mode in settings, p and m both have the option to manually adjust brightness and lighting effect, hope that helps :)

Don’t worry vapes are not safe at all, so you have nothing to worry about. Get a vape at a local smoke shop and use it for your animations now! (Don’t actually vape, it’s very bad, it can causes lung cancer and age you faster, and is very addictive. Pls don’t vape 😢😢😢)

I don't have a red light for the blasters so what I do is get a red transparent brick, put it over my flashlight, and it gives the same effect. Hope I could help!
How come in my brick films whenever I put the camera close up to a figures face it goes blurry but I see professionals do that and it’s clear, you can see the face as clear as real life, can anyone help this one little problem is ruining all of my stop motions
Extra tip with the phone backdrop video if u want to get extra precise then you can use the . To go exactly one frame in the video or the , to go exactly one frame backwards
To do the smoking one you can use a athsma inhaler for it to but u have to take pics really quick but it can still work. Or you could push down on the inhaler and hold it in your mouth and blow it on the set but U also need athsma for these 2 option cause u need a prescription

2:06 you can turn on your phone flashlight on one frame and turn it off for the second frame and repeat if you don't have a finger light!

For the night time part, I recommend using soft lights(led strips) or practical lighting(lights you can see in the shot like lamps)

A good way to make the smoke effects besides vaping, you could use a smoke machine or dry ice.
Don't vape kids

for smoke, i use a thin layer of wadding that you can see through, since i'm not allowed to buy vapes

If you don't want to mess up minifigures with paint, I suggest using simple Play doe. If you are to mess up the figure, i suggest zombies.
