Thank you for your compliments. Much appreciated. Wanted to make a vid that focused more on action and less on numbers and talking. Any feedback on that is also appreciated... Thanks again.
Although I’ve commented on your ‘battle rifle’ video, I’ve just now begun to dig into all of you shooting videos…done very well, I will say! I’ve always been intrigued by the .223/5.56 in military use. It seems like only in recent years its development has improved past the 55g FMJ and M855, which I still question. It seems that civilian rounds, like a Speer Gold Dot would have military promise, so have we really clung to FMJ out of international treaty? Of course, we seem to have taken advantage of semantics with the 77g OTM and its “hollow point.” I’m just an old Air Force guy, with much more shooting experience outside the military, but I still see veterans, as late as the GWOT, describing how a single 5.56 was often not able to do the job, and promoting a larger battle-round.
Good stuff. So, tell us about the different rounds, how did they feel on the shoulder, how did the action respond to the different ammo? How do you think military surplus (milsurp?) would compare? When I get my 250 rebarrelled I’ll be tightening the twist to 9 - 10” to get a better range of high BC pills and changing from a carrier to a sit & wait, too old & broken now to go traipsing around the hills, 😂😂. A friend gave me a whole swag of once fired 375 h&h cases a while back and I’ve been stewing over what to do with them. 6.5mm - 375 or 7mm -375……. What do you think?
Good video. Great shooting. That 62 grain really cleans things up. Thanks for sharing and take care.

I love my 223
I know 223 is usually a little cheaper, but this is why I try to stick with 5.56 62 grain, it seems to be a great all around round.
Great stuff. The 5.56 certainly did the job, 😂😂.
Are you using a single rifle with a Wilde barrel or 2 rifles?
👏👏👏 👋👋👋
Thank you for your encouraging words. Great to have you back with us… 👍
In regards to your question, was using 18 inch,
1 in 8 twist, match grade barrel, with a Wylde chamber…Ar platform.
