This came out in 1975. I was twenty. My cousin snd i cruised around in her Moms white Chevy Monte Carlo with this playing on the tape. A great summertime song. This was a MONSTER hit!! EVERYONE had the Album, or the Tape. Their first hit was "Shout" made in the 1960's. It was played at every bar, and home. It also was a "had to play song" at all Wedding Receptions. "Shout" made them fanous. Definitely check it out the video showing them singing it on a TV Show back then.
This song is like resting on a cloud. You're listening to the great Ronald Isley aka Mr.Big.Check out "Voyage to Atlantis",and "Footsteps in the Dark".
Yeah, Isley Brothers are the pinnacle of Baby Making Music in late 70's early 90's. But if you get some time can you react to Isley Brothers "Let Me Down Easy" and "Don't Say Goodnight" 2 underrated songs that are smooth as hell. Ty
This is from the "heat is on" album...they always had one slow side and one fast side...This was their biggest album hitting #1 on the white charts..."sensuatlity" is my fav song on the album
It's funny you mention charlie wilson because on the hit computer love by zapp, charlie wilson is hitting the hook. So be on the lookout. By the way, I preferr audio because the videos can be a distraction and sometimes videos are condensed. But anyway.
If Butter had a sound it would be this
The lead singer here is Ron Isley. Also known as "Mr. Big"
Smooth, soothing, SOUL music. Thank you for your reaction.
Big hit? This song was a Monster!!! back in the day! Still is! 48 years later!

This is what we call Soul Music! Also that’s a synthesizer you hear not a flute.
