I ran into such a problem - when I wipe the smudge after engraving, white dots appear on the image, which becomes visible if the backlight is turned on. I tried different engraving options - speed, power, etc. Maybe you can tell me?

Hi, well I'm not really sure what to say ;( that does sound very strange, OK so before you engrave the mirror do you clean it first with acetone to remove any grease or fingerprints, also is your image dpi high enough as to not have stray pixels, also if using lightburn in the adjust image preview if the contrast is too high it will show dots separated and not a uniform spread of pixels/dots. Pls just try a vector text and see if you get white dots with that too, pls let me know your results, thanks for your comment;)

@@lightworkz61 Maybe I didn't put it quite right - when the engraving ends, everything is OK, but as soon as I wipe the mirror and remove the dust, white or transparent dots immediately appear, as if I erased the coating and a hole appeared. It's hard for me to explain in words. It's easier for me to show you the final version. Can I send you a photo by email? Or how can I contact you?

Hi & thanks ;) This was done on the Ortur 20w at mm/m, so the settings will be the same as mine in the video at 01:07 just change the speed to 116.67 for mm/s power still the same 45 ;) Thanks for the comment.

Do you think it will be possible to do it with a 10w laser?
