- I have the ultimate laser machine with all the accessories for the fast and powerful OLM3.
And I built enclosures for them. This machine, which is too big to keep in my small studio at all times, I designed an enclosure that can be easily set up, disassembled and stored when in use.
With this, I will do more creative work.

Nice build was thinking of something similar, but you have a nice solution.
But I think you should put a glass that protects your eyes better.
just put an orange or red acetate film on that windows for extra security for ur eyes and its perect i love it!

It is a hinge for a folding door. If you search for it, you will find it.
Thank you for sharing this. Your enclosure is very well engineered and thought through with lots of details. I love the magnetic attachement for the hose!
Did you consider using orange/red plexiglass for the windows? It filters the blue light from the laser (there are also certified plexiglasses especially for this purpose) Clear glass does only work for CO2 lasers. It would make your enclosure even more secure and protect not only your lungs but also your eyes. 😉 please take care, stay healthy and continue to share your great content!
I installed clear acrylic for the shoot. Of course, colored acrylic is better. thank you
I just got done building the other version. Well mostly done. Just a few minor things left.
I opted to have the bottom include a door to the inside that folds down and creates a platform for my laptop. As well as providing some storage room

I can't make plans. When I work, I only do simple sketches. However, I reveal the photos and measurements on my instagram. I hope even that helps. thank you.

Aha It would be convenient, of course, but I've been using it without a camera. There are no purchase plans yet. Then do a great job.
Great job but the acrilyc don"t stop bad waves length and the machine still running when you open it. Safety is not at the maximum!
Great work! The idea of the case is really impressive!
But I notice already in the second video that you put a simple transparent protective screen instead of a colored one to protect against the laser beam.
Please tell me if this will be a safe idea, because I am currently making a similar case myself and am thinking about what to put as a viewing window.

That hinge is for a folding door. You can find it if you search on Amazon.
I just purchased a LM3 and looking to build an enclosure. This looks ideal for my small shop. How do you ventilate the box? Is there a powered blower in the duct? Does it exhaust outside? - Thanks
You are right there is a powered blower inside the exhaust pipe and the air goes out to the outdoors.

Step one own a workshop with 30.000$ worth of equipment. dude thank you for taking your time to make a tutorial, but im pretty sure if I had a 30.000$ workshop I would know how to make this. - a really nice video would be how to make this with only the laser cutter, since.. you know.. that is what I have of tools ... ;) .... like making the cuts and making a box using the laser cutter to make the sides...
