Dr. Ziada is brilliant. He performed last month an angiogram on me, and found a very elusive blockage that was overlooked by others. He promptly stented it. Very intelligent and yet humble physician. Have the most respect for this gentleman. Sincerely, Paul Fasse a Cleveland Clinic patient.
What would be the sign on the ECG would be if some one has Microvessel Coronary Spasm? Most of Our Doctors in Papua New Guinea rely on ECG Machine. Thank You
Had a “heart attack”. EKG and troponin levels say I did. BUT, after a catheterization - no blockage was shown. No stents, etc. They put me on statins anyway. Blood pressure was low so they didn’t want to give me blood pressure medicine…..I was told I must have had a “heart spasm”. It is not a diagnosis just a “nothing else to call it” answer. I walk 4 miles 3-4 days a week and I do it in under 1 hour. I eat a vegetable and fruit heavy diet. I avoid dairy but I eat good cuts of meat when I can afford them. I don’t take ANY medications - until they gave me the statin. NOW, I don’t take that due to the pain it causes in my legs. Any ideas??????

Do you mind if I ask how was it overlooked? Via CTCA? Would you be able to offer some detail?
Thank you for this info...much appreciated from a 62 yr. old female with spasm.
Can you go into greater detail please.
Could someone have Microvascular disease even if they had a clear cardiac MRI?
