Nice ride, excellent top speed with a freerace board and good jibes. Joy to watch !!!
Thanks mate.
Looking Good! Now I want to get in the water!
Nice planing jibes.
very interesting watchig your feet placement. Nice tutuion
Thanks James. I have to say, foot motion and placement is one of the most influential elements that made me progress with my jibes in 2020: Being GENTLE and avoid stumping the board while making the foot change is so important to avoid killing the speed. Having said that, I still have a lot to improve on this front - I'm not always doing it right! If that can help anyone reading this, one more key thing that helped me with jibes is keeping my weight forward as much as possible during the first 2/3 of the jibe (Edit: along with flexed knees!). This helps to keep the board flat and thus avoid pushing water with the board and killing the speed. But regardless of how many advice or videos you can watch on jibes, there's no easy quick way to learn it: Time on the water and failing repetitively is usually what it takes to progress. At least that was my experience.
@@whynowind All strong words of advice. Something I have found super handy is to make sure I get my backend home back on the boom just as we go around. I find I'm okay when its flat, though when we have chop and waves can be a bit more tricky. Agree with time on water is the key, practice and more practice. .
I just bought a Bolt 117 , 2022 😀
Awesome! The Bolts are super fun, super fast and quite easy to ride. Good choice! 😉
👍🏼 well done jibes
Merci!
Love the jibes man!
What kind of Gopro mount do you use for the boomcam? I want to use it to analyze my own gybes :)
Thanks mate. I use a Clew-View boom mount. Can be found here, when not out of stock!
