How long before an Elemental Build Up Declines?

Be scared if it's a Deathbringer: 2s not weak or 4s for weak are the times. Final DB in game is 1.5s for non weak elements 2s for weak elements.

Is it dependent on the machine? For trampler n freeze, it takes quite a lot of time before the elemental effect is finished. More than enough time to freeze the entire herd, then come back to the very first trampler u freeze n finish it off.

I think you misunderstand. I am referring to how long before an elemental buildup decays when a player stops shooting an elemental ammo type at it. I am not talking about Elemental effect duration.

Interesting, but what if the machine is strongly resistant against that element. Would it be over even faster?

My experience, if it's resistant, u have to shoot way more arrows to trigger the elemental effect. Like way way more.
