This blower was a classic example of…if you’re tuning a 2-stroke and it just won’t either stay tuned or is acting erratically, then the first thing to look for is an air leak. I wouldn’t have guessed a missing screw, but there you had it anyway - an air leak. 🔧👍

Hahahah! I'm glad I'm not the only one that will happily take on those Tecumseh engines, like the one on that Toro.
The LV195EA is actually a pretty solid engine. Toro used it on their Lawnboys as well.
I love and hate working on those Tecumsehs... But powermores?! I'd sooner leave them to some other sucker to work on. They're junk!
Edit: Got a sub from me, mate. :)

Kyle. Happy for you and the great finds. Glory to God for supplying you with machines that will make you some profit which helps to take care of your family. I am impressed with your little son who seems to be a really well mannered boy. May God's Blessings continue to bless you and your family. Remember to give all the Praise and Glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.

Then it started conking out after about 2 hrs. Took it to John Deere dealer and they did what I would have done, except they raped me on repair price. I used it for 17 hrs and started doing the same thing. I ended up taking the tank off, cleaning it out, new fuel line from the gas tank to the pump to the carb. Took the deck, foot pads and fenders off. Sanded, primed and painted. Seems like it’s running ok now. I paid $2800 for it with 1050 hrs. I posted it on Facebook for $1800. No bites yet. Watching the $150 trailer of junk now. What a deal. If I brought all that home, my wife would shoot me. Have a great day.

Solo’s are a quality brand made in Germany. In 1949 they invented the horizontal rotary mower that we use today. Make good sprayers too. The Kat means catalytic converter on the blower

That's a unique looking Honda mower. Don't think I have ever seen a Honda ride on before. I know they are quite popular in Europe. They still sell Honda ride ons over there.
    Great job!

It’s cool watching you troubleshoot your Honda 1011. Thanks for sharing your findings! I also have a Honda 1011 that I love dearly. Currently, I’m trying to get the carb off to clean or replace, but I can’t disconnect the 2 linkages, so I can’t remove the carb. Did you have any trouble disconnecting them on your Honda? If so, any suggestions you can think of would be very much appreciated. Thank you Kyle!

Honda carbs can be tricky. The throttle plate can be rotated in a way so that the linkage pops out before you even remove the carb. With the throttle linkage off, it makes it easier to remove the choke linkage

hey i just got one of those hondas and it was a living nightmare first it needed a new battery 100 the mower cost 100 then new tires 100 then it had a fuel leak and caught on fire so it needed a new carb 60 but i got scammed on the carb and the trottle had major issues then it needed a new starter worth 100 eventually i sold it for 150 because i did not want to lose any more money

Hey thanks for the video but don't put your hand under a lawnmower like that you don't know if it will come. Freaky accidents happen all the time.
