I didn’t even know this kit was a thing. About to buy one now. I hate how loud the original one is but i also don’t want a whisper quiet fan either. Thanks for this
Our piece of garbage, contractor installed $20 bathroom fan stopped working about a week ago. Watched this video this am and went to HD to pick one up on the off chance it would fit my current set up. I had been unable to determine which NuTone fan had been installed originally so I figured I can always return the new one if it wasn't what I needed. I noticed the replacement fans box had a picture of my old fans grill so maybe that's one way of telling what fan you currently have. Literally, 5 minutes after getting it home it was installed and running great. At my HD, it was aisle 30, section 1 even though online HD said it was section 2. I've found in the past as well that with HD the on line location is likely not the in store location, especially in the plumbing area. Anyway, this was a direct replacement, tabs and all, and so easy Ray Charles could have done it with Stevey Wonder giving directions. I've read complaints such as "This fans to noisy" or "It's no quieter than my old fan". BLAH BLAH BLAH. What are you trying to do, get a nap while you take a dump? Watching UA-cam? Do your business and move on man. It removes stench and steam, what more do you need from a bathroom fan?? Thanks Greg's Garage!!!!

Nice vid! I downloaded an app to detect voice matches... because I could've sworn I was listening to Al Franken. (hehe)
I'll have to listen to Franken
Exactly the video that I needed. Thanks!
