I really love that a lot of the recent Power Rangers actors are getting so into it and seem to really care about the franchise. Especially Ciara Hanna, she's honestly a legitimate redeemable feature of Megaforce.
She's kind of like the new Tommy with all the stuff she's been doing for the fans recently.
Not sure I'd go as far as saying new Tommy, but she's definitely comparable to JDF at this point.

When they made that 'wanna help me find my dad?' joke and that Ciara laughed, I felt so nice. The actors watch their shows (and each other's) so this would be an insider Power Rangers jokes that others won't get

Yeah, they were doing lots of fun jokes about being on different seasons of the show! Check out the BTS of it on WE The Geeks of East LA and That Hashtag Show, you can see more of those jokes there. And in some of the pictures on their Instagrams, but you'll have to scroll back a bit.

Ciara was always my fav from Megaforce, she deserved a better series, and it's great to see her so accepted into the different Power Ranger projects
Agreed, I wish she had more intentional focus to shine in her season, but seeing how much she embraces and reprises her character really makes up for it. A lot of people call her the girl-JDF/Tommy because of that enthusiasm for the show and character, and I think that's a well earned title.

(PR does not know how to do anniversary episodes!)
(For me, an anniversary episode should bring characters' lives up to date, actually bond with other rangers, not just give them two or three lines of dialogue. In this respect, Sentai does anniversaries much better.)

That was fun! Glad Ciara was treated better here than in her own series too.
I really wish she got a focus episode. But that's the problem that happens when you only have 20 episodes per season, and they had a lot of other story points to hit with the 20th anniversary and all. Still should've been a focus episode though. I feel like Robo Knight got like 3.

Thanks! I tried to blend old and new in this one, but it's easy to bring in those old tropes when I grew up while MMPR was airing new episodes. All that time glued to the tv as a kid finally paid off!

Gia was my favourite from Megaforce. she never got a focus episode though. its sad that a lot of fan films now are of better quality than a lot of episodes of Neo-Saban. Gia is one of my favourite rangers, but Megaforce/Super Megaforce is my least favourite season it was all over the place and trying to cram two sentain seasons (100 episodes) into 40 episodes didn't work. Dino charge was good, but gotta admit the finale wasn't the greatest of idea's, but i loved the casting choices for Dino Charge.
Gia's great. Really wish she got a focus episode too. But Gia's in so much stuff post Megaforce now, so we're kinda getting something like that.
yeah, i noticed that, the character is getting a lot of recognition both officially and unofficially. playing a major part in the Power rangers X street fighter short film and being spotted in NZ filming for the Ninja Steel Anniversary. Hopefully she appears in More things later on. Megaforce was only watchable for me cause gia was so cool.

Thanks! The putty effect was really fun! Bought clay to mold the putty shapes and capture the effect and it reminded me of 1st grade arts and crafts. Very calming.

Thanks! Man, there is SO much teamup footage in recent Super Sentai that simply never gets used. It's a shame. Fans love it. It'd be cool to do a fan teamup episode using some of that footage. But it'd be cooler if Hasbro just brought that tradition back and bought the rights to those movies.
