For me, the fact that she defeated Fiera with only the lion zord is even more badass. They had to defeat everyone else with all the zords combined.
All new changes start off really tough to fight alone. Until later when the new monsters would be too tough for them to fight alone.

Makes sense she would be stronger then the others for two reasons 1) like the gold ranger the monsters didn’t know about her she was able to train in peace (these rangers are based on bloodlines to get ride of one ranger kill everyone in that line I’m guessing all the houses of their families have the same kinda seal of the main house) 2) she is the oldest of the red ranger line you hear the yellow ranger say more then once if her sister had been healthy she would have been a better ranger then her that’s couse in the senti the frist born has more symbol power

Lauren is my favorite modern-era Power Ranger. Along with making history as a female Red Ranger, she also did a phenomenal job leading the team during the last part of the season and remained friendly and warm towards the team despite the fact that they were kind of awful to her, and for no reason too. It takes a special kind of person to be able to lead a team that doesn't respect you and continue to be kind and compassionate towards them. I just wish she would have been on long enough to be even further developed. Maybe bring her back as a mentor, she's no Zordon but she could still do a great job as she's shown she has the patience and compassion to be perfect for the job.

My only real problem with Lauren was the way she just expected everyone to automatically follow her because she was Jayden's older sister and supposedly just as skilled. By this point, Jayden had earned his team's loyalty in dozens of battles and she had not been there for one of them before this one.
Well, in the end, she gave the team leadership back to him anyway, so I guess she realized her mistake
Daniel Haire No, Jayden had a god complex and the other rangers tripped over themselves to satisfy it, Lauren was the true Red Ranger, and when she takes over, Jayden leaves making Lauren look bad in the team's eyes, which is why they actually hate her, because she's not Jayden.
Except she does nothing different what Jayden has been doing. Lauren was trying to fulfill her father placed on her and tries to make friends... and these assholes don't care about her feelings.
Time Force had a similar storyline with Wes and Alex... and they did that storyline much better.
Your forgetting about the fact that this team is based around around the idea of the samurai cast system the red ranger is the lord the leader, this team isn’t a group of friends or a random group of people called to take on the power they are raised knowing that they will be called you see the blue ranger give up a shot at the Olympics when called and the yellow ranger answer the call because her sister couldent, so her expecting them to follow her is because she knows this was supposed to be her team and as the oldest child of the red ranger line it’s her duty to fight and maybe even die fighting the monster not her little brothers

I liked Lauren but, I think they introduced her waaay too late for me to really connect with her at all. We don't really know anything about her character beyond that she is really dedicated and skilled like Jayden and that she cares about him. They should have had her pop up a few times before, keeping her presence a secret up until the last handful of episodes really hurt her character.

To be honest both Jayden and Emily have a lot in common as their older sisters were such to be the ture Samurai Power Rangers but Serena falling very sick and Lauren went into hiding to fully master the sealing power whom forced Jayden and Emily to take their place as the Power Rangers. Think about it Power Rangers Samurai fans Jayden and Emily weren't supposed to be the ture Samurai Power Rangers but their older sisters Serena and Lauren are the ture Samurai Rangers.

I honestly liked Lauren and it’s sucks that the rangers gave her such a hard time. She never wanted Jayden to leave, to be honest they both could have lead the team together. She came back just to see him leave her. I imagine Lauren must have been lonely and miss Missing Jayden a lot.

How come when Antonio shows up the rangers were confused on how he became the gold ranger and didnt say welcome to the samurai rangers and kevin, jayden, and mentor dont accept him on the team even though he is ready. For Lauren, they say who are you and they just welcome her on the team im so confused.

I like this twist. Who says there can't be a girl red ranger. In Mystic Force There was a girl blue and boy yellow and in Ninja Storm Hunter almost wore pink because his color was a very dark pink. I also feel bad for Lauren. When she came she probably was hoping to get some friends and be united with her team like the rest of them and their ancestors were but the team was too focused on Jayden. She must feel really out of the loup. That would make me sad and furious. The rangers knew the only reason they had to be protective of Jayden was for his sealing power and Lauren's the one who really has it. They should now be fully focused on protecting her now. Though they're loyal and love Jayden they know Lauren needs the same loyalty.

1) You don't NEED to be a Red Ranger to be the leader. Have you all forgotten about Jen from Time Force? She was the Pink Ranger but was also the leader, and the one who ultimately defeats Ransik, NOT the Red Ranger Wes
2) We're not getting a female Red Ranger anytime soon. Saban doesn't give the show enough funding to be able to be able to do all that many original in-morph scenes, so unless Super Sentai gives us a female red ranger, not happening anytime soon
3) Charlie totally counts as an, "Official" Red Ranger. So does Lauren. Just because you may not like them or dislike that they never got proper morph sequences doesn't mean you can just discount them
You also forgot about Delphine from Mighty Morphin' Alien Rangers. She counts as a female leader of her own team of Power Rangers and she's not a red ranger. She's the first-ever female White Ranger.
Also, Charlie as an evil, female red ranger. But Lauren is the first-ever good, female red ranger.
In MMPR, Tommy lead the team as White Ranger. Not Rocky. That should confirm Red Rangers aren't always leaders

I love the concept that there is an older sibling able to take the reigns momentarily. I mean Lost Galaxy did it first. But Samurai changed it up by making it a family dynasty.

In the shinkenger the shinken red the team had Takeru (red samurai for us) wasn’t even a shiba at all he was chosen to be a kagemusha (I think that’s how it’s spelt) which is a shadow warrior to keep the nighlok distracted so they had no reason to suspect that he was fake while the real shinken Red practised to master the sealing symbol safely so she wasn’t put in any danger at all. Which was the case with Lauren only they turned the 2 reds into siblings with Lauren being the first born so therefore making her the the true 18th red samurai power ranger of the shiba family. So Jayden was made a red ranger to defend the world with the other samurai rangers while Lauren secretly practised mastering the shiba fire seal symbol. As that way the nighlok wouldn’t destroy everything in their path trying to find the head of the Shiba family.
