Been lookin at one for my fmx bike. Def dont need it for fmx.... but couldn't hurt. And lowers rev range from what ive heard. Wich isn't bad at all for ramp tramping. More torque early on. Less top end. Maybe after I do a self programmable cdi box and shit ill do that
Don't see how a cylender head on 2 stroke wood make a difference exsept shape and compression what does offer just higher compression than stoke the read valeves on 2 stroke and the tuned muffler were power comes from I understand if was 4 stroke head but what does the head do thanks
Hi! It's a standard cylinder indeed. We've only changed certain components compared to standard bike: our VHM head, insert, HGS exhaust. In addition, this test was done using Ecomaxx fuel.
@NoNoNoNii Ecomaxx is special developed race fuel. We used their MX Race 2 for 2-stroke dirtbikes. It's in Dutch, but by using google translate you can see some more information regarding the Ecomaxx here: www.ecomaxx.nl/mx-race-2
Hello Avelino, this is indeed a standard engine with only VHM cylinder head (incl. VHM insert off course) and HGS exhaust. Furthermore, it is tested with Ecomaxx fuel.
We measure on the rear wheel, but add a small correction factor (0.05PK/Kmh) for the crankshaft. So the graphs in the video's show the power on the crank.
Hi! In the graph at the end you can see that the HP with the stock engine (including HGS exhaust) is 41,5 and with the VHM head included it's 43.1HP. Might not be exactly comparable with other dyno tests, but the result between our tests can be compared (same day, same dyno).
thats impressive , i love my 17 150 sx it rips 40 hp stock is no joke.
2Wheels 4Life I have 03 CR 125 and it has like 40HP, on the crank, not on wheel
I have the same thing as you bro and your %100 correct

what's the silencer on this? sounds unbelievably good!
Hello Ribulen, both the exhaust and silencer on this bike are from HGS
So which insert is used for the test
Good that somone test wich ones best

The chain slack is getting me tighter the chain the better
I like my output shaft bearing
Absolutely not. Most bikes need 2.5-3.5cm of play. Chain gets tighter higher the wheel goes.
That sound. Love it

you can change the compression ratio
How come the cylinder head with 13.60cc make more power than the cylinder head with 14.00cc?
A smaller combustion chamber = more compression. This head probably reduces the squish distance and increases squish velocity also.
how can i get this tier ?
this is with NO PORTING etc internal work?????

is this a stock engine with only VHM cylinder head + HGS ? or does it have crankshaft and others on it?

Rearwheel hp or engine hp?

how can it be only 23hp? my last years vike was a yz125 with tuned culinder vhm head other cdi with mapping hgs exhaust and it had 42,6 hp

Wurde an der Kurbelwelle gemessen oder am Rad? Habe einen Kopf bestellt für eine 150er in Verbindung mit Bud Hgs Auspuffanlage Anlage und VForce. 4r.
@@mgsx1506 es wird immer am Rad gemessen.
That engine brake tho

oh just warm up the bike before test pretty much goes full tit in like 6th
if it has a thermostat its hot after 30 sec
Hp?
At the end of the video you can see the power curve, which indicates a little more than 43 Hp.
43 hp at the Crankshaft?
RST Perfomance Racing wheel
DirtBike DJ thats pretty much for a 125
RST Perfomance Racing it's a 150 not a 125
That was a wast of my time. At least give us some numbers
