The ktm sx 150 is the lightest full size bike to convert to trail with a few chances. I sold mine and got a new 21’ xc 250 which I love but that 28 Lbs difference is very noticeable for a 150lbs rider.
I've been fortunate enough to test ride several bikes of all sizes over the last 10 years and in my opinion these small bore 2 strokes are some of the most fun you can have on a dirt bike.
I have the same bike only a 2020. It will do the slow single track trails fine but starts to get boggy after a bit. you can tell she wants to be one the pipe singing. really thinking about going with lectron carb to help with the tuning. other than that damn I love this bike lol
I haven't tried the 150 in a tpi but I have ridden a couple of 300 tpi bikes. My take away is the tpi power is a bit more linear, ( smooth & consistant).
The bike was loaned to us as a demo for the day, it's pretty sweet. When I'm ready for my next bike the 150 will probably be the one. Next year they are fuel injected I believe.
Is this bike the same size as a 250? I’m looking to purchase my first bike and i don’t think I’m quite ready for a 250 2 stroke but I don’t want a bike that looks very small as I am quite tall. And I also don’t want a 4 stroke
I’m looking to get my son one of these. We need a bike that can do track and trail. This bike seemed to do just fine in the woods!

I love the sounds of 2 stroke it's amazing
Thus it have low power?
@@jaybrap7401 Not compared to the larger four strokes of course but with enough clutch and throttle it gets the job done.
always interested in trying one of these in the woods. currently on a 21' 250xc and Sherco sef300. Some days I wouldn't mind a light rig.

Fantastic POV! So few actual woods trail riding clips. Looks like your pace was limited by the rider in front.
Hi May I check how differences from 150 exc tpi? If you had ridden one

I really want a 150 SX. Are you pretty happy with the bike thus far?

Yes the 150 two stroke would be comparable to the 250 four stroke both in size and power.
The 150 and 250 two stroke bikes are also the same physical size, seat height etc. 150 will be lighter.
@@hayhead92 lighter by roughly 20lbs....but the 150's in a smaller 125 frame, technically they're not the same size but not far off
