Hi I’m a beginner your videos are the best especially for someone like me who is just getting into photo editing. You give me the confidence to pursue this & take it more seriously. Everything is understood crystal clear. It’s not hard to follow along I appreciate your help, I hope you continue to make great videos 🤝
I used to use it for Unsplash, and then Unsplash started charging for their API, and the folks at Serif chose not to spend (which is one of the reasons Photo and Designer are still so inexpensive-most of us can go to Unsplash without the Stock panel, yeah?)
Thanks for the reminder that this - for me as a hobbyist - is having fun! I used to grab a pic of a cosplayer and put them in a background then make fictional sci-fi/comic movie poster art just to see if I could.
Absolutely! I knew when I started and could edit for hours and it seemed like minutes this was something I needed to pursue. Thank you so much for watching!
For some reason, my "refine" selection always give me crappy results... it's NEVER as what I see in tutorials 😮💨And if I paint matte to enhance it, it becomes worse and worse. I always have half transparent bits of selection. Any idea on why it happens ?
interesting. When you first start using your selection brush, in the top right is 'snap to edges' selected and 'Soft edges' NOT selected by default? When you go to the refine box itself (after hitting the refine button) is 'Matte Edges' checked off by default? Just comparing settings. Let me know.
@@bydesignmethod Let me see... everything is checked. Might have something to do with the picture contrast... Affinity seems to have hard times defining what is the edge of the subject.
Yes Siiiir! Now thats some good news! Thank You for this one Amazing I loooooove your brushes packs! Highly recommended to everyone reading this! Hey You are still reading, now you better buy it!
