I'm in FL , great video on skulls, I have a European buissnes also , our 4 point & young doe skulls are super fradgile, I have even done some in a crock pot to avoid, falling apart , plus the washing, stay far away with the pressure washer & use wide fan , from 1 to another, try a beer keg , I have 3 , 1 super short, the other two are cut right at the end of of the keg , they are stainless steel , chemical will not eat it , both ends have an outside lip , great for keeping heat off of horns , the last 1 is cut long ways , down the middle, for large horned animals,& gator heads , had to weld bracket to keep on burner ,but buy far they last long , if u have to touch up a antler down here we use ( early American ) love yr hunting video s , especially family !!!!! , I have hunted since I was a kid , & all my kids hunt, & a big Thank You for keeping God & prayers in yr video, GOLDEN !!!! Keep them coming , I also Hunt in Colorado , ( Craig ) love God's nature, so different than FL , Happy New year to you & yr family

Nice to see a video from you again! I always love watching them!
I have a quick question for you.
My neighbor shot a beautiful 8 point whitetail in my yard last year and as thanks he gave me the skull, cleaned and beautiful. Is there a way to know if it was cleaned by a method like yours or by beetles? The nosebones are all still intact and beautiful as well as the ear bones. It feels like it has had a coating of something on the skull but not the antlers and I cannot find any indication that any tissue was missed in cleaning. Truly a beautiful skull. I just was wondering if there was a way without asking the person who did it how it was cleaned.
    Thank you!

I began following a couple years back with the anticipation that I wanted to do this to my first whitetail buck which I just landed this past weekend. I'm definitely doing the wrap trick, but my question is this - should I use soap and water to scrub the antlers at all before the boil process to get rid of blood and grime currently on the antlers? Keep up the amazingly informative videos!

Thank you for all of the videos. Really great stuff! Here are a couple of questions that I searched for but didn't find an exact answer..... 1. Do you ever find the need to brush their teeth while in the peroxide soak? I have a buck that really needed a trip to the dentist and not sure if his blackened teeth will clean up well using just the boil/soak or will need extra scrubbing. 2. What type of adhesive to you recommend for repairs so that it won't discolor the bone over time? I saw in one vid that you made the repair after the whitening. Wondering if it matters whether you do the gluing before or after the peroxide wash.

Good New Years to you Ryan! Quick question i had a euro done about 2 years ago, and it i don't believe it was done to the skill level that you have. The reason i think this is i believe i can still see gunk at the bottom of the teeth and the now oil stains all over the skull. Is it possible to take it back to the taxidermist and have it redone, or is it to late.

I'm doing my first today, I'm sure you have mentioned it before, but how long do you simmer in peroxide? Also I may have overdone it on the first simmer with pink soap, and the two thin bones up from the nose, on each side of the nose are looking sketchy, like I may loose them... can you reinforce them with superglue or something? Man, I wish I would have practiced on one of my bucks instead of my first being my cousin's son I mentored this year. I cleaned up everything I could with a knife and put it in the freezer in a plastic bag, maybe thats why It was so difficult to clean up with the pressure washer. I love what you do, take care.
