I have had one for a couple of years it doesn't like to many side branches trimming them so they are fairly straight saves time in the long run I have watched Videos of people struggling to get Bushy stuff into the Hopper instead of two minutes of preparation then it will Chip I would say up to 50mm but i would say 40mm is more realistic I personally have not had a problem with the Blades. This machine is really good value for money used properly and is far superior to other similar capacity Machines I have tried. I did extend the Axle 100mm to the right to make it more stable on sloping ground [Newer ones may be different to mine]
@@chrisjanes7275 Yep, great little machine and like anything, if you look after it, it will look after you 😊
Many thanks for watching and commenting and all the best to you 👍🏻

Congratulations mate on reaching1k and nice bit of kit that will make a lot easier 👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much, you’ve supported me from the start and I genuinely appreciate every comment you’ve made, top man 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi mate, yes I’ve got one too and is perfect for lifting and nifty size isn’t it. I’ve found it doesn’t like damp green stuff so I keep a hand blower on hand which easily blows through blockages.
Only gripe I have is how tight the blade bolts are, I had to send mine back for them to undo last time and tried to loosen them myself again yesterday to turn round but they are solid.
I’d recommend that you try loosening yours a little now before you use it much more.
Congratulations on the grand that’s great!
Thank you so much, yes it’s definitely the most powerful chipper of its tiny size I’ve used and in comparison to the Cobras and Green Mech stuff I’ve used which are much bigger, I’d say pound for pound this is easily on par.. and the best bit is I don’t have to tow it.. straight I the back of the van and it also goes in not a problem when I’m loaded with mower, strimmers and blowers etc!
Thanks so much for watching and all the best to you bud👍🏻👍🏻
JP
Congratulations JP on hitting the 1k well deserved, nice handy little machine for the work you do, it might pay you to purchase some aspen fuel it is pricey but if your not going to use the machine for a while it does not go off like garage fuel
Thank you so much mate, you’ve supported me from the beginning bud. Yeah I run all my mowers on Aspen but when I contacted Forest Master to ask if I could run this chipper on it they said they would only recommend E10 unleaded which we all know is rubbish. Obviously when the machine is out of guarantee I’ll probably run it on Aspen anyway 😂
Thanks as always mate, top man 👍🏻👍🏻

@@JP_livingthedream I use E5 50/1 Two stroke mix using Husqvarna XP oil I don't have any starting problems with any of my machinery Husqvarna Chainsaws Brush Cutters ETC. Even it they are not started for long periods which is far cheaper than Aspen !!
Great bit of kit mate 👌
It’s definitely a beast for the money mate 👍🏻👍🏻
All the best to you,
JP
You can’t beat the FM6DD for price and efficiency it is the best in its class. I’ve been running one for a few years now, it’s100% reliable too, it’s a little ‘War Machine’. I have, however, invested in a 13hp chipper simply because of the amount of waste I’m producing now, I needed to chip larger diameter brancher a work a lot faster. I’ll not part with the FM though!!
It’s an animal for its size, I reckon if you could get carbide blades or something like that it would annihilate bigger stuff too!
Thanks for watching bud and all the best 👍🏻👍🏻
JP
Throw the Forest master blades away, fit some from Advanced Chipper or similar. Forest Master are too soft.
Appreciate the advice,
Cheers
JP 👍🏻
