You know what I like? He made queen which was the start of it, and ended it off with the song «God save the queen». Mind you he was at the lowest point of his life here, vocals were almost gone. I guess no one with their A-Game could beat him even on his worst day. Freddie Mercury, KING!
I wouldn't call this his lowest point in life. I'd say that was when he found out he had aids and was dying. If you are basing that statement off the movie. Remember the movie took some liberties with the timeline during this part. In the movie he had already told the band about him being HIV positive. In fact Freddie himself did not know and may have not been positive at that time.
Jose Gomez why specifically that event? There are so many horrible tragedy's around where thousands of people died. I'm curious why that one. But I wouldn't alter history significantly though, who knows what would happen haha
i don’t think there’s ever been anybody that has truly connected with fans like Freddie, his passion for the music, it flowed thru his body, he loved performing, he loved his fans and was more concerned with putting everything he had in his performances for the fans❤
man, Freddie was the best. He is often touted as being "a great performer", that phrase really started to get my goat at the freddie mercury tribute concert because he was much more than that. He was a great singer and performer, sure, but he was also a great composer, a great pianist, a very artistic man in general and he was a great person too. I didn't leaver school until '89 so I never got to see them live, but I was already a long time fan by then and really wanted to. Never experienced the live shows outside of all the videos I bought and watched. Never knew him, but he was very important to me, the whole band was... they still are. Love you forever, John, Roger, Brian and our Freddie
this will forever be my favourite "song" by Queen, tied with Show Must Go On - because it shows the relationship Freddie had with his audience. The play and dialogue they shared. I find it so beautiful because of that.

I'm trying to think of a more commanding, charismatic and/or cool moment in history and I'm drawing a blank. He had the world watching him and conducted a perfect vocal exercise with 70,000 unprepared, unrehearsed pupils like it was child's play. You wouldn't believe it if it wasn't filmed.
Had to come here cause every “Most historical music moments” or similar video. Didn’t have this moment. Thank you for filling the void that was in my soul.
To watch Freddie Mercury was to watch a masterful, charismatic performer, beloved by millions, for his vocal brilliance, wonderful personality and unparalleled ability to entertain an audience. We will never see this legend's like again, and this is one of the great examples of how he could hold an audience in the palm of his hand and hold them utterly captivated in every minute of his presence. Rest In Peace, Freddie Mercury. You were one in several billion, and greatly missed. ❤

FACTS
I was born in '96. Over the years ive gotten into Queen but Its still unreal to me that this man actually existed once.
How do you actually know he existed? Maybe it's all an illusion and the past didn't exist before you were born.
He is holding the mic in his left hand and thousand of people in his right hand..
THIS.
This sounds both so powerful and cute
Pretty sure those are more than millions
Yeet Masta74 nah that’s crazy there was about 250k and even that was crazy
Billions if you count the people all over the world
When he said: "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO"
I felt that.
Unironically though
Listen to the 8D audio version.😎 It's like you *are* there.

100th like
Always has been
You know what I like? He made queen which was the start of it, and ended it off with the song «God save the queen». The Word «queen» by that time was a derogatory for a homosexual man, and at the end when they performed «god save the queen» this absolute Genius wore a queen outfit. He was both amazing with his vocals, but a really smart man too.
He was right
1946 - 1991
One of the greatest moments in music history. Undeniable.
He's making 90.000 people doing the same thing as he does and here I am, struggling to do a presentation for 20 people
Giustino Redondo hah. I did a presentation for 30 people once.... that's how many classmates I have
Not only 90.000 people are there but about a million people watching live
Giustino Redondo For real

Giustino Redondo wasn’t it 170,000 people?

Connor Orcutt I think he want to make sure his crowd is still with him. You can see in the end, he is satisfied that his fan is still with him
Absolutely. He knows he has them in the palm of his hand

the best 👏.
I could NEVER get tired of seeing Freddie doing this with the crowd 🙌🏻💯🔥🔥
Mind you he was at the lowest point of his life here, vocals were almost gone. I guess no one with their A-Game could beat him even on his worst day. Freddie Mercury, KING!
You mean Queen! 😁
Wait, this isn't his prime?
Eh his vocals were amazing here
I wouldn't call this his lowest point in life. I'd say that was when he found out he had aids and was dying. If you are basing that statement off the movie. Remember the movie took some liberties with the timeline during this part. In the movie he had already told the band about him being HIV positive. In fact Freddie himself did not know and may have not been positive at that time.
@@cebola2k2 his prime is at the mid 70s to early 80s
The end always makes me laugh because I'm not sure if he anticipated or intended that the crowd would repeat "ALRIGHT!".

Imagine .... just imagine being part of that crowd..
Imagine being Freddie looking over the crowd while he sang.

39 years later and still the most bone thrilling performance, Freddie is truly the greatest vocalist and musician
When people ask me "oh if you could go back in time what would you do?" My answer would be to be at this event. No question.
Emily Marie same here. I wouldn't have to think even for a split second
Wendy Neverland I would probably try to evacuate people in the World Trade Center but yea this is okay
Jose Gomez why specifically that event? There are so many horrible tragedy's around where thousands of people died. I'm curious why that one. But I wouldn't alter history significantly though, who knows what would happen haha

man, Freddie was the best.
