Great stuff once again from the Crowdies featuring the oh-so-talented Finn Brothers! Thanks once again Peter and Mark (and yes, Tim does look particularly dashing in that purple shirt!)
For some reason I thought the transformers theme tune would be involved so good to hear nick nail the bass-line I read Elvis Jerry Schilling helped with the recording! I was chatting with brother Paul from the waterboys and it turned out he knew Jerry, who I saw on Elvis cinema show the point is you gotta be good for musicians of that calibre! Good to know my fave bass player is up to that standard 😊
Love it! One of my favorites, and was quite delighted to see it live in San Francisco in 2008. (I was very late to the CH game and did not see them for the first time until 2007.)
A true gem. Someone please tell Neil that while we love the voice harmonies, in the new albums it is overdone- this is how it goes best, main voice is main voice, harmonies only at the moments they make sense.
Cheers Peter for another great Crowded House performance. Hope you don't mind me asking when did the tour start with Tim in the band and where was his final gig?
Tim made quite a few guest appearances after he left the band. His official last gig as a band member was Oct 29th 1991, Theatre Fabrick, Munich Germany . First show Myer Music Bowl, Melb. Nov 24th 1990. But once again special guest moments before that like the Greenpeace Benefit at Old Greek Theatre, MNelkb March 4th 1990 , Ids etc.
@@petergreen2534Thanks for that I was always under the impression it was the UK leg of the tour that he left. It was great that they were adult about the situation and didn't fall out they just knew it wasn't working. Tim is a front man and you can't have 2 trying to do that.
Love it!! Another great addition, thanks Peter & Mark!!
Thanks for supporting video Wednesday.
@@petergreen2534Always my pleasure!!
Possibly my favourite version of this song live! Thanks, got a huge smile on my face for the rest of the day 😆
Magical with both brothers I love them both so much
Thanks guys!! Love having these joyous moments and memories. Both Neil & Tim’s voices are so vibrant. Rousing stuff! Xoxo

Thanks Pete.. love these little treats in the morning. 😊
