It's annoying when you prepare to fit something and you end up with something totally different. At least it's only a little bit of patch work no harm done. Cracking work as always.
Thanks for the support as always mate, I was annoyed with myself on this job to be honest, In hindsight I probably rushed the first fix and wasn't as careful as I should have been, I was late getting in as all the walls had already been boarded so the whole job was a bit of a struggle, the hard work is done now though
Well Tom you definitely had a few problems on That little job To sort out .dose not help when your parts are missing . You did a good job with the bits you had . Yep know what you mean when you have to park your van miles away ..keep up the good work tom 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the support as always John, it is one of the most annoying things when bits are missing, the lifts weren't working either so I had to carry everything up 4 flights of stairs, it keeps me fit though I guess, have a great weekend 👍
Love this vid Tom... every headache, obstacle and dilemma posed youve overcome it with poise, skill and professionalism.. This is why i love plumbing...
Thanks for the support as always Tom, I was annoyed with myself that things weren't quite right on this job, I only had myself to blame though, have a great weekend mate 👍
Fantastic as usual! I’ve had so many bad jobs in the last few weeks, commercial gas, and a bit of heat pumps this win watching you made me feel better 👍😍
Hi Tom, another nice little installation there, it’s always a pain if you have to move the first fix but there is usually a solution and some patching up to do. As always you got the job sorted and it looked great in the end, well done mate. Thanks for another great film, I always appreciate the time and effort you put into filming, editing and uploading etc. Have a great weekend and as always take care. 🍻👍👍👍
Thanks for the support as always Chris, I was annoyed with myself on this job as I do normally try to get things right, looking back I probably rushed the first fix a bit and wasn't as careful as I should have been, thanks for watching as always, have a great weekend
That's my Friday evening started properly again, thanks Tom. I got flat faced bent isolators from Screwfix a couple of weeks ago, might be worth checking if you need them again. The flooring guys love if when you leave the pan out for them, always gets a smile. Another good, keep it up😊.
Thanks for the support as always mate, I always try to leave the pans out, it is a better job and makes there life easier, thanks for watching as always 👍
I was annoyed with myself on this one as things weren't as good as I can produce, one thing is though I never hide from my mistakes and always try to learn and improve, thanks for watching as always 👍
Fitted a doc m today at a new fast food restaurant. Had to press a tmv surface mount under it though. Made it as neat as i could. Good video as always tom
It is tough to make them look neat when installing a tmv, I normally fit thermostatic taps instead now, I know they are a bit more money but do save a bit of time and look better, thanks for watching as always mate 👍
Thanks for the support as always mate, they did sort it for me in the end, it is annoying when stuff is missing, I did laugh though when they asked for a picture of what bits were missing, how can I photograph what I haven't got, have a great weekend
@@PlumbLikeTom literally from the same company as the one in your hand know from a job we had heat interface units and we used them dry tindish no need for a hep vo trap shit on a stack test I find anyways have a good un
I know mate, I put my pipes closer to the toilet for this reason, I have fitted loads and this is the first one where I've had the tap in the middle, it was a proper DOC M with all the grab rails so I just fitted it, thanks for watching as always
Nice work Tom what’s a plaster board hole or two and I do like the renaming tools, such as the whizbang (hammer drill,) very much appreciated the time you take cheers Tom 👍👍👍👍
Nothing that can't be patched up, I was annoyed with myself though as I do normally get things right, looking back I was under pressure when I first fixed the job and probably rushed it more than normal, thanks for the support as always mate
I've sorted it now mate, the videos are a couple of weeks behind, I got my money in on a few jobs so have just about managed to afford a cable tie to stop it flapping, thanks for watching as always
You had me when you lined that flexi up to your original first fix. Literally laughed out loud. They actually do a flat faced version of those isolations, I think I had them from MKM as I knew you use them :) Cracking video as always Tom its come together quite nicely, just curious why you've use tectite fittings on some of them, that's unlike you :P
Thanks for the support as always mate, I used a couple of tectite fittings because I didn't want to solder and set the fire alarms off, In these circumstances I would solder outside but the van was miles away, I do have a rems press gun but rarely use it, it was one of the first ones and is 110v so is a pain to lug around
@@PlumbLikeTom Totally makes sense there then mate, was just curious as it's not normally a thing you do! Cracking work as always Tom, definitely wasn't picking faults was just curious as I know you much before your solder :) Look forward to the next one and thanks for the reply
No worries mate, sometimes you have to do what you have to do to get a job done, it would have been my luck to nearly get finished at set all the sprinklers off and flood the place
I know the theory behind jetblue is the make sure you dont get leaks but why is it better than ptfe and is it a pain in the butt for the next guy to work on it? Interesting vid, enjoyed it
Jet blue isn't necessarily better than PTFE but is probably quicker to apply, jet blue is non setting so doesn't make the fittings any harder to remove, thanks for watching as always mate 👍
Always a pain when you open up a boxto find parts are missing. Just hassle for you. And then to say it doesn't come with them parts, when it always does, is very annoying. It would try the patience of a saint!
I changed it for a thermostatic tap in the end, I did this job a while ago and it was just easier than fitting a blending valve, thanks for watching as always 👍
Never liked the compression fitting reducers , would rather an end feed fitting reducer . Odd basin as you say . Yes it's a WHB not a sink 😂😂 sinks in the kitchen
Thanks for the support as always mate, I did end up changing one of those reducers as I couldn't stop it weeping, like you say end feed are better, have a great weekend 👍
Disabled toilets normally use a large lever handle to make them easier to flush, I'm surprised no one has come up with an infra red button to make life even easier, thanks for watching as always
@@PlumbLikeTomsiamp do an infrared flush mechanism, screws in where your flush button goes and is powered off a 9volt battery in cistern. I'd imagine it wouldn't be officially approved for doc m though.
Lovely job Tom, I’m only disappointed that you’re not around my area 😊

Great video Tom
I really didn't want to drop my fitting, it would have meant a trip up four flights of stairs back to the van, thanks for watching as always Andy
Great video again Tom ..yo the man lol….👍👍
Thanks for the support as always mate, have a great weekend 👍
Probably a daft question or observation but was there an overflow in that sink, I couldn't see one. Good video again.
I think there must have been mate, I would have fitted an unslotted waste had there not been one, thanks for watching as always Alan
😂😂😂 love the new miniature shower head 😅😅 ...Sprinkler pipe I Know .KOP

Hello Tom great video. Btw what's the spray can at #4:44? Thanks
