Back in times of communism getting ammo was difficult. Specially for hunters. Most common caliber in Europe was 30-06 and 7x64. But getting ammo for those was tricky, on other hand getting army ammo was easy (soldiers were giving it away for some vodka). So back in the days if you saw smoke coming out of tree or on dry day tree getting on fire then you knew that somebody used army "lighter" ammo (not chambered in 30-06 but 7.62 that was like about mm shorter than 30-06). Have balls to use this, manufacturing of army ammo was poor in quality so it wasnt uncommon to have your barrel explode or your chamber to go on fire
I was getting nervous when he was just sliding it back toward the firing pin with his hand. "What if it malfunctions and triggers by itself? Especially after firing wrong ammo just minutes ago?" - My subconcious brain. But hey, that's probably why I still have all my fingers and eyes :)
Some of the expended .45-70 Gov't cartridge cases at recovered via archaeological digs at Little Big Horn show splits down the casing. These were fired by Indians in larger caliber rifles, .50 and up. One recovered skull from the Reno-Benteen entrenchment site of a KIA trooper showed a keyhole-shaped entry, which was from a tumbling bullet, possibly an example of a .45-70 cartridge being fired in a larger caliber rifle.
Thought the Indians mostly used lever action. Not sure there was many rifles shooting a larger caliber then 45-70 in that time period, not sure a 45-70 could be fired through a 50-70(50-70 wasn't much of a round). 50-110 weren't out yet. 🤔

Watched the newest demolition ranch video today and now this one got recommended, hard to believe it’s the same person from 8 years ago and the intros have gotten infinitely better over time also crazy how much the ranch has been upgraded over the years
If you listened, the .380 and 9mm fire the same diameter bullet, and both cartridges can be loaded with an identical bullet... forensics can usually determine the individual barrel a bullet was fired from, regardless of the cartridge used. Firing different cartridges than a weapon is chambered for has been going on for years, ex. .22 short or .22 long from a weapon chambered in .22 long rifle.
Finally someone has an explanation nobody was saying shit about what happens like does it ruin the gun or what does it jam more? Hate these stupid comments that got shit to with shit 💩🙅🏾♂️💩

Try turning it off and on a few times and if that doesn't work, try re-installing adobe premier, that usually does the trick, but if all else fails hit it with a mallet.

You talk about it being quieter, but we can't tell and it would be nice to see how the gun reacts in real time. Military 5.56 rounds have a thicker primer cup, because the AR has a free floating firing pin. That might have been causing some of your problem. Great vid!

I have been watching demolition ranch for about 7 years and I just got this as a recommendation about 9 years after the video was posted

I accidentally loaded a 9mm into my 10mm Glock magazine once. I knew something was wrong as soon as I pulled the trigger. It hit 6 inches low on the target at 5 yards. Whoops.
