This gun has a LOT of really interesting tech in it and stands margins above normal handguns in terms of power and penetration. But who knows that really, until they see it for themselves? Sending one out to a few dozen high subscriber gun channels is instant free advertising that will get their foot in the door and solidify their place in the market since people don't have to wonder if the gun is trash or not.

The 7.5fk round is especially powerful. It was designed specifically to match the terminal velocity of an AK-47 round (7.62x39) at 100 meters except to be from a pistol. It is extremely powerful and is more than capable of putting down a 500lb bear at 50 meters almost instantly. These rounds DO NOT mess around.

@@non9886 I think it might have gone through maybe 1-2 more if that's the case, it's most likely the fact it has a pocket of air larger than the projectile. What happens is that it loses a lot of energy with the impact, but it also directs the energy it could not stop in other directions So when it hits the second wall of the canister it's going to have a lot less energy affecting it than if the plates were just side by side.
That blew me away too. My feeling is the metal is quite hard plus there was an actual vacuum ,then the round shape. Also hollow points are the exact wrong ammo for this. If he had AP or even fmj ball it would be better. I would love to see Larry Vickers with it after watching him make 250 yard hits with a 10mm Glock.

I can't believe you hit at 100 & 125 yards especially first try at 100 & even second try at 125 yards is INSANELY impressive to me, and I have a decent amount of experience shooting at the range. The PSD is a brand new multi-caliber "service pistol" platform that uses the same 7.5mm FK cartridge of the earlier Field Pistol that has been out for several years. Also, by the way, the 7.5 FK is not based on the 10mm Auto. It is a longer case (27mm vs 25mm) in addition to being a longer cartridge overall (35mm vs 32mm), as well as being bottlenecked. Though they do share the same 10.8mm case head and a similar shoulder/neck diameter (10.8mm vs 10.74mm).

@@non9886 I think it might have gone through maybe 1-2 more if that's the case, it's most likely the fact it has a pocket of air larger than the projectile.
What happens is that it loses a lot of energy with the impact, but it also directs the energy it could not stop in other directions
So when it hits the second wall of the canister it's going to have a lot less energy affecting it than if the plates were just side by side.
That blew me away too. My feeling is the metal is quite hard plus there was an actual vacuum ,then the round shape. Also hollow points are the exact wrong ammo for this. If he had AP or even fmj ball it would be better. I would love to see Larry Vickers with it after watching him make 250 yard hits with a 10mm Glock.

The PSD is a brand new multi-caliber "service pistol" platform that uses the same 7.5mm FK cartridge of the earlier Field Pistol that has been out for several years.
Also, by the way, the 7.5 FK is not based on the 10mm Auto. It is a longer case (27mm vs 25mm) in addition to being a longer cartridge overall (35mm vs 32mm), as well as being bottlenecked. Though they do share the same 10.8mm case head and a similar shoulder/neck diameter (10.8mm vs 10.74mm).
