I like the modest amount of music but you really can't beat the sensation and sound of the wind. So much drama in 8 mins. Thanks as usual, Jim.

I love the sound of the wind in the mountains. Thanks for watching again.

A great 8mins, I sensed the crunching arctic dried grass, the stubbing my boot on fixed ice glued rocks, being almost there on a rocky munro with with some of the best views in Scotland. Bringing it all back Jim, ionantach!

Thanks Johny. Pleased that you picked up on the subtleties. I tried using less music on this one. Not sure if it works or not :-/ but I kind of like it.

One of those days when you can look into the distance and see the weather that's coming your way! I like the moments when you catch a glimpse of the sunlit valley below through a gap in the clouds. Thanks!

Yes, I like interplay between the clouds and the sunshine. Made for a nice end to the day.

Some of your films 'get to me' (in all the right ways, usually resulting in a stinging sensation in my eyes) more than others (although they all very special). This one was one of those that did. I don't know what it is about the ones that do. (although i do like the sparseness of use of music). It will also and more so be how you've edited shots and sequenced them, and of course what and how you shot what you did. I wonder what day it was last week when you did this walk...one day the wind was utterly bitter, even low down, so goodness knows how it was up there, if it was that day.

Thanks again for your support Steve. I was particularly pleased at your reaction to this one because I wasn't sure if the lack of music would work or not. And the lack of aerial shots makes it less dynamic than some of my other films. But I really enjoyed the changing weather. I was in a T-shirt when I set off and had my down jacket out when it started snowing on the summit. I walked this one a couple of weeks ago. It was 16th April. On 17th April I did Buachaille Etive Beag but I put that one out first. My films aren't always out in chronological order. Next film is on Sgurr na Ciche. Was a fantastic spring day last week. Will try and have it ready by the weekend but I'm away again at the end of the week so we'll see! Hope to catch up soon!

Thanks James! I’ve been enjoying your channel. You’ve got a great presenting style. Watched your ben lui film the other day as I’m planning to do that soon hopefully.
Funny! I was going to ask ask you the same thing. Yes that was me on the ridge! I thought that you seemed familiar but it only dawned on me about an hour later who you were. Shame I didn’t realise at the time. Would have been nice to chat about filming. Maybe bump into you on another hill some time!

@@ScottishMunroJourney Wish we'd both worked it out at the time. Would have been good to have a longer chat. Great day up there eh. Looking forward to seeing your account of the day too. Yours and Murray's (Scotland's Mountains) are my go-to hill walking channels. Yes, see you again some time hopefully.
