@@UniqueTutorials In My Laptop (Acer Swift 3) after updating to windows 11, my chat is also not working its showing {" we have run into an issue" 'something went wrong' } how to fix it?
The widget is working! It just doesn't show the degrees below and there is this messed up icon! With what you show, nothing has changed!??? Any other ideas?🥺
Hi! I have installed the latest version of Windows 11 (yesterday) and I have already updated the OS. I tried installing Microsoft Edge WebView2, but I couldn't because it's already installed... Any clues of the solution?
You can do one thing , In settings , kindly check if there is any system updates (especially - Cumulative updates) available for your Windows 11, if available then update it.
Sometimes, cumulative updates might be in optional updates . kindly check once more or go to device Manager >Select your display driver > disable it . And check if widgets is working or not.
1st method - check for any system updates (in settings) Also check if any Optional updates available like (Cumulative updates) - if yes then update it. 2nd method - Open Device Manager > Display > select Intel HD graphics (or any display graphics)> right mouse click > select disable and check if widgets showing or not.
It is already installed but widget still not loading. Tried resetting the windows with ISO, restarted the pc, toggle on-off widget, logged in with microsoft account in system, set edge as default browser but no luck
Kindly update your Windows 11 (version) to the latest version and try this video tutorial. Go to settings > updates (check for updates) > if you see updates with name starting with "Cumulative......" then download and install this update.
I am not able to make my widget icon work. I downloaded the app but my system said that the installation failed. The Microsoft WebView 2 Runtime is already installed for the system. Please help how can I solve this issue?
Kindly update your Microsoft Edge Browser and open Windows Terminal / powershell ( admin ) and type this command winget upgrade --all and hit enter and wait until checking and installing newer updates and lastly open Microsoft store and check updates > if you see Widgets update in update list then update it.
Right mouse click on taskbar > and go to Taskbar settings > Taskbar behavior >Taskbar alignment > select Center . The widget icon will automatically shift to left side of the Taskbar.
Kindly check system update by going to settings app to find if any (Cumulative) update available , then download and install it and restart your Windows Computer. Then it should fix. Or try this Open Device Manager >Select Display /Graphic > and disable it and check if widgets is showing up or not , if yes , then you can enable the display/ Graphics again in device Manager.
I use Chrome as my browser.....how can I get WIDGETS to work again properly? It WAS working just fine until I did a system restore.....which I will never do again, ever. System restore is something I've used in the past on my old computers....& it worked great....I even used it once before on my current laptop, a Dell Inspiron with no problems. It messed a few things up BADLY & found the solution on UA-cam thankfully. Weird stuff....like showing the file types as MEDIA....& not .mp3, .doc, Mp4, jpg, etc, etc. Was a 15 second fix.....but System Restore isn't supposed to fk things up to the point you need to grab a couple Valium & a gummy. I was beyond nervous....was wondering if my computer would ever be the same again. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this way....I love computers, but at times when they're doing stupid things, you feel like sh**ting your computer for putting you through total hell.....once again. Anyway, I'd like to have my WIDGET working again. I use Chrome on Windows 11. Any useful help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Try setting Microsoft Edge as Default Web Browser and go to computer settings > Check for Updates > if you see "Cummulative" update then update it and restart your Windows computer and check if it fix the widgets and Even try Updating your Display Graphics driver too.
Search for Device Manager > display adapter > graphics (disable it) and see if it opens widgets or not , if it opens then you can enable back your graphics driver. If still this does not fix. Then go to Settings > Windows Update (check for newer Windows os updates available or not like Cumulative updates, if available update it and restart your Computer) and see if it fix widgets.
@@UniqueTutorialsit did not work, I think, the only solution is to install webview2 app like you showed, but when I try this it says webview2 is already installed, then I try to uninstall it from wise uninstaller and some command codes but still not uninstalling or system does let it get uninstalled
You can use this free uninstaller to uninstall webview ua-cam.com/video/EOoQMqTzEfA/v-deo.html (I myself use these uninstaller in my windows computer) And lastly you can try Try uninstalling edge browser and reinstall edge browser since it is related with webview.

Try disabling , Graphics driver in Device manager and see if the widgets works.
