I disagree. The long-ass holster time doesn't make Thermal Thruster the initiation weapon Pyro needs. It's currrently more of a rollout and repositioning weapon. It's still immensely better than what Pyro's mobility used to be before the update but it's still not enough to put Pyro on the same line with, say, Scout or Soldier. Now, if Thermal Thruster was a passive weapon like Gunboats and Demo's shields and boots, it might be a different story.

Actually, it was progressive. It'd double in rate, or something. So it'd take 5 mins to get to 1000hp, then 7 mins to 10,000 hp, then about 10 mins to 100,000hp, then like 12 mins to 1,000,000
The Degreaser, Gas Passer and Powerjack work pretty good together, use the Powerjack to maneuver to flank positions or advantaged positions where you can get gas for the Gas Passer and when your ready toss it on a point or choke and quickly whip out the Degreaser and instantly get like 7 kills.
