am 63 years "young" and this video was shot when I was a junior in H.S. I saw the Eagles in '79 in NY, and WOW! Their catalog is wonderful! EPIC! This is one of those songs that belongs in with "Stairway To Heaven", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Nights In White Satin", and "In My Life." Joe Walsh ( the lead guitarist) is one of the best guitarists ever!!! Enjoy and go down the Eagles "rabbit hole.'

Two other songs from this concert feature two different singers, great harmonies and stellar performances: "Take It Easy" and "Take It To The Limit", both well worth checking out.
They're both incredible, but take it to the limit is on another level. Great suggestions.

I dont think you guys get it..this song is about the decadence of South California in the 1970s that those from the American midwest in particular , experienced when they came from a safe 1950s type of childhood mentality to a drug fueled free love era of that particular time of California...

Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin would be great to check out. From Pink Floyd "Learning to Fly", "Comfortable Numb", and "Dark Side of the Moon." For Led Zepplin there are many but the best is a performance at the Kennedy Center Honors of "Stairway to Heaven"

I know that a lot of reactors make sure to show & read the exemptions to the copyright restrictions (fair use for purpose of educational debate & discussion section of the US Copyright laws). I don't know everything that has to be done to be safe but many channels fade the image, block the images etc.

Cool to see yall singing along, the lyrics "sweet smell of colitas" is the smell of marijuana, "my head grew heavy and my sight grew dim" means he was already high, also "Tiffany twisted" is the rolled joint that you twist, some dance to remember some dance to forget is the effect that smoking weed can have, it can make you remember things from decades back or forget things from 5 minutes ago lol... it all relates to the Mary Jane aka Marijuana...
