I finally got to make these. I totally forgot all about them. I was working on some hats for our local Police Dept. to hand out this winter when in need. THEN I saw someone post the pattern with the link here. They are truly easy to make! Bless your heart for sharing your knowledge,
Omgggggg!!!!!! I’m so excited to make this. I’ve been wanting to make one for so long but my hands are in a lot of pain 😞. Crochet hand saver! I’m gonna use the tulip for the center piece
Hi! This is wonderful! Thank you for the very specific wonderful video. I was wondering if that would look kind of cute with that gathered part at the nape of the neck with certain hairdos? Then let the edge roll in front like we do With some of the singlelayer hats.....maybe it would look stupid, but I'd love to see you try it. I'm thinking it would look like a plain hat from the front....and would have that beautiful detail in the back. Thank you and God-bless!
I just finished a copy of this hat. I used Premier Puzzle. Don't really like this yarn not enough give. I liked the vargated burgundy color. Made for my cousin who loves burgundy and red.
2:54 before you do the first stitch are you starting the slip knot with a new piece of yarn(not connected to the tube?) that got me confused. Thank you!
I used the Addi 46 pin to make a single later tube. 65 rows for the smaller head forms and 75 rows for the bigger ones that look like a man. Cinch one end closed, slide it on the head form, then hot glue in place at the bottom edge. You don't want it to be too big or it will easily fall over.
Thank you! The first head form covering I did doubled tubes but I have been planning to recover it using a single layered tube only bc I honestly hate it. I’ll try to remember to post about it when I do that! I don’t remember how many rows this was to be honest
I am not sure I understand your question. This hat is primarily made with the knitting machine. If you don’t wish to crochet the middle part, just wrap some yarn through the hole instead. I hope this helps❤️
I suppose you could create a tube in a like manner until it reaches the correct measurement as shown in my video. Although this piece stretches a whole lot more than a crocheted piece will. I’m not really sure 🤔

Awesome! I'm going to try and make this with a silk or satin yarn and wear it to protect my hair while sleeping. 🥰
That sounds lovely!

Yes, I am sorry! Same color yarn but not connected to the tube
@@DaysCrochet thank you SO much!! ❤️

Please could you tell me, does the cast on row count as a row? I imagine it does since we reset our counter first?
It does!
@@DaysCrochet thank you so much. Was worried! ❤️
Do you think this pattern would work if it was double layered like a hat?
You could certainly try it but I can't speak from personal experience
Love this!!!
How did you make your cover for you mannequin head?

Sending you a tip for these tips!! 😘😘
I love your turban! Next project! How many rows did you knit for the head form?

@@DaysCrochet I made a turban and posted with your original post in fB group. So easy to follow your instructions
@@KnittinDebsKnook thank you! ❤️
@@DaysCrochet stop by my channel and watch my motorized Addi….no drill but high tech adapter my loving hubby made me. KnittinDeb’s Knook
@@KnittinDebsKnook I will! I just subcribed☺️
How can I make the crochet if I am left handed?? Thank you

👌
Will the 48 pin make a big difference?
Nah not really
I crochet round and it's very tight what did I do wrong 🙈
Try going up 2-3 hook sizes. You have to crochet loosely or it will be too tight
Ok thankyou x

How can I convert this to crochet?

problem is for those who don't know how to make this piece by hand
