Wonderful bike, buddy. And thanks for adding Graveyard to top it off. I already forgot about this great band and bought two records of them immediately. Can't wait to get my sporty back from repair to finally ride again. Thanks for the inspiration! All the best to you and ride safe.
Sweet! Good video and great job on the build. Really dig the wrench jockey shift handle. Love the bare metal look. Wonder if it's possible to get a bike powered coated in clear to preserve that look?
@@Vega_4130 Nice! Never really thought about it before. Wished i would have several years ago when i tore my FLH down. A friend at the time sent it somewhere and powder coated the frame black. Looks good. Thanks for answering.
@@Vega_4130 Good idea. I stripped all of the paint off of my tanks and fenders before repainting them with rattle cans. Now that i think about it I'm not really into the bare metal look but do like the way that bike turned out.
@@waynemetevia7983 yeah for sure! You can do so much with it too. Ive done patterns with a scotch Brite pad or sand paper. Or even just cleared over old patina. Hell i think they even make a flat clear now. Haha crazy
Codi Vega Thanks for replying Man ! No front brakes, just back. Right On, that's old school Man. Dig that suicide shift, nice craft manship. So you dig Wheeler Walker, I do too. Big CHEERS from Austin Texas!
Xi Degel Austin texas! Thats awesome man! Thanks for the words. It was a fun lil bike. The video was made for me to sell it actually. She went to north dakota i believe
Honestly i just winged it man! Build a little perch and chopped the housing down and basically pinch bolted the cable off of it. My buddy would use a big bolt with a nut so it would pivot smooth and i basically just ripped off his idea haha
I used a forward control bracket though and just put a 3/4 (i believe) bolt and welded it to the back of the bracket. Welded the clutch pedal to a nut on that bolt. Then used square stock and drilled and notched it so i could sneak the cable i ln through it. I believe i drilled holes in the clutch pedal and used a 1/4" bolt with a hole big enough for the cable and pinched it down. Tha square stock was basically a stopper for the housing it was a very smooth long throw feel which made it nice getting used to. Then if i needed I could use a hole in the clutch pedal to adjust it if needed
@@Vega_4130 thanks for the reply. on a brief stop . Small leak changing gaskets. Freakin cams fell off when removing cover .now i find myself trying to put all back on time. Omg . Project for me No time limit i got all winter. Any tips?
Iv had 2 buddys that owned rigid hardtail frames and they've rode them 4 hours to the beach. They said it hurts the hell out of your back but you can ride them long distances, just be prepared for back pane and to try and avoid pot holes, because pot holes suck at 90 mph on a hard tail lmao.

The rake & stretch on the frame & forks give it a perfect stance. That doesn't always come naturally but I've seen plenty where somebody got it wrong.
Same here. I love the old chopper look where the front of the frame is on a big ole angle. But i also don't like flop lol
Beautiful bike and front.
That was a perfect Chop, really love it !!

Xi Degel no it doesnt. Just ran a disk brake front wheel with no front brakes.

Yes sir. Just cut down a stock clutch cable and re routed it. Built the bracket and linkage
Love the Ride great work . Working on a sportster myself how many inches was that springer front end ?
It was 2 over stock. The frame also matched that so it balanced out real nice i feel

sorry but my english is terrible lol, i say the accelerator and its support seems to me that it gets lighter but more loose
What size rear wheel are you running (width)
Just stock
Ok cool thanks mate👍
awesome fucking bike dude only thing i'd add is a sissy bar but i get that's not everyones style
what length fork is that?
2 inches over stock. made by DNA
What cam is that!?
Stock cam. Just low idle. I had an aftermarket ignition but i cant remember what it was and it was terrible to dail in
whats the rake and fork length?
34 degree rake. 2" up over stock.
2" over on the springer
do you have a link for front end ?
i dont. but it is the DNA springer

I live in utah

The problem with 'chops' is that you can't go very far on them ! Great for 'bar-hoppin' but no longer rides.

There’s more than enough dudes that ride choppers for the long haul. Some people have what it takes to stick it out, some people don’t.

Needs front brakes!
