I love the fact that you're a lefty, like me. As an artist myself, watching you draw looks so natural and comfortable to me. More Antikythera please, though! ;)
It is printed directly onto the acetate using a laser printer, with the printer manually interrupted before the toner is fused - Layne Zuelke has an excellent tutorial on it here: ua-cam.com/video/rcvS1C7jpxk/v-deo.html - Cheers :)
Clickspring Clips Ah, that’s very clever. I suspect the toner transfer method for PCB masking could also work for this, though it uses a special kind of paper. Actually, this acetate trick might work for PCBs too, I wonder how well it works for solid black fill?
A project of mine at work isn't going well and I just had dental surgery so I can't bite my knuckles like I usually do so I think I'm going to go pound some nails into my thigh.
I get it from an office supplies store: www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/nobo-plain-paper-copier-transparency-film-20-pack-acpp100c20 - Cheers :)

Just for clarification... The shellac is thinned with lighter fluid and applied to the target metal and allowed to dry. The drawing is copied to transfer paper. The transfer paper is placed on the metal and the action of rubbing over the drawing, transfers the drawing to the metal. Do I have this correct?
You take it to the next lever Chris, this is really a pleasure to watch. I can't even imagine how many hours it took, only for the drawing! I wanted to ask, is the milling machine where you cut the plate a CNC one?
@@ClickspringClips I personally like some old heavy duty machines (lots of cheap ones in Germany), however what I admire the most is people like you who can take some Chinese equipment and produce real pieces of art with it. Respect!
A second channel aimed at people that might not be inclined to invest 15 to 20 minutes in a full video, hence the much shorter clip format. Mostly old, but occasional new material - Cheers :)

I’ve been hoping to see next fretwork cutting. Not because I love the whole performance but to share this as with less explanation;)
Is there no end to this man's talent?
Do you have any videos on the scroll design process?
I guess you could use the special toner transfer paper too.
