One of the best KMFDM tracks ever - for me also on the same level (10/10) like the cult '92 version with En Esch - and Lucia's performance here is absolute killer!! Her vocals so great and aggressive also in this version - do perfectly fit!! KMFDM 4 Life!!
I really like this version of the song. Is it available on CD or as an mp3 download anywhere? The official KMFDM store only seems to have stuff from the 2002 Sturm und Drang tour.
After the clash with the right-holders of the Orff's work (Carmina Burana) they had to remove that samples....likewise what happened to Apoptygma Berzerk's "Love never dies". ....you.name.it!
@Chr1551 KMFDM was at it's strongest live with En Esch fronting and the rest of the guys behind their instruments... Also when you had both En & Ray up infront during the nihil days that was something amazing too. Now if you put En Esch back in as the front man of current day KMFDM than you would really have a force to be reckoned with, but until than i prefer slick idiot for the spontineity.
Actually if there is one critisicm I'd have about this preformance... why is Selway hitting the Toms instead of the Snare? When I play this song I hit the Snare.
Yea the music is pretty tight and cool, but the problem with nu-kmfdm is they have no spontaneity... En Esch provided all of that in the old days, you never knew what he was going to do next on stage and he put so much energy into it, he has a lot more stage pressence than all the present day members, their performances are so robotic in comparison...
I really miss Gunter at times like these... back I in the 2000s I saw this incarnation of kmfdm then a week later saw pigface with Gunter and En Esch , so it's kind of like I saw them in their prime. This version is horrible...
This is so shit in comparison to the 1992 live one. Andy is not bad though. But Sascha took the reputation of the old members with him in the Nu KMFDM and it sounds so shit. His voice in German isn't aggressive enough unlike Esch. Old >>> Nu any day. This would put you to sleep their Nu stuff.

It's missing a little bit with En Esch gone, but Sascha is doing pretty good.
This looks so amazing to experience live. I really, really hope they'll tour in western Europe again sometime soon.
ahhhhh this brings back such good memories.
As much as I love the original original version before they got into that sampling kerfuffle, this is really freaking tight.
YES, YES, YES!!!!!!
Thank you for these uploads!!!!!
There is no way I can repay you, the debt is too great!
This absolutely fucking rocks.
Yeah, Orff must be in it ...otherwise it's not the real *Liebeslied* from NAiVE!
I like the German version better than the English version (Hole in the Wall); both very well composed however and this live version is awesome!

Wo ist Nicklaus Schandelmaier
If you fuse Lucia's and Sascha's voice, you kinda get En. Especially on Godlike Live 2004.
... that's true but so weird.

It's not the same though....

wow this is much darker than the original i think

yea i agree its lacking him and the raw sound they had crystal*
I think KMFDM is the band that Ministry always wanted to be. Seriously, everything Ministry did after Twitch totally sucked ass.
look at the lyrics for a hole in the wall, then look at the lyrics for this ;)
'92 version is better
shit this is better than the original!!
Seriously... Liebeslied without En Esch... just no :'(
This is the original.
This is disgusting. This song should not be performed without En Esch.

@psangoesdown It totaly is, I don't like En Ensch's voice.
