The team rallied when Matthews went down and won games 5 and 6. Keefe re-inserted him in game 7 and he noticed the team was not the same as they had been in games 5 and 6, which they won. Keefe didn't know what the actual status of Matthews was, and Matthews intimated he was not at 100% for game 7. He got an assist, but the team lost and was eliminated.
Keefe has been out-coached throughout the season, but this time he was outcoached by himself !
