Kunio-kun no Nekketsu Soccer League is a Soccer video game for the Family Computer, both developed and published by Technos Japan released on 1993.
It is a direct sequel to the Nekketsu Koukou Dodgeball Bu - Soccer Hen, not international version of Nintendo World Cup.
The game was never released outside of Japan, but it was translated in many languages. - Ігри

This game stands on its on even now in 2021..I don't think there is another game that can compete with this in terms of versatility ...characters, music, weather , supershots, lightning, tornado, dance, and every single character is different even in other teams..The creators of this game are really awesome
I play this game every single day... Even in bathroom break at the office 😂
There is one thing missing, pissing off characters like in the hockey version, man it was funny af!

This game was my childhood played on a knockoff chinese nes with yellow cartriges.
And I used to called them star guy, banana guy, fish guy, underground guy, pencil guy

jeje , es verdad , yo lo jugué mucho, y tuve que colocarlo de capitan al bananero para poder ganar la cahmpion completa xD . los de brasil con su tiro de pescado era dificiles , y habia dos porteros enemigos q eran super dificiles meterles un gol ,, este juego es perfecto una obra maestra .

The Nintendo World Cup game is a Kunio kick ball game (Nekketsu Koukou Dodgeball Bu - Soccer Hen) that was sold in the Western market.
This game will have 2 sequels, In the clip is the second game (Kunio-kun no Nekketsu Soccer League), which is only released in Japan.

This original Version ist so much More expressive than the international World Cup. Is this even supposed to be the Same Base Game? I mean, aside from the roster, this Game appears to be quite different in tone, animation, gameplay... Ist's less brutal and more Anime-like. Does anyone know more about how these two Games came to be?
How do this?
To do a special shot, jump and kick the ball with the correct timing. The kick
should come out near the peak of the jump and the ball should be hit immediately when the kick comes out.
If done correctly, the ball glows red and takes on a
characteristic motion. Other factors such as stats and items may also affect the
chance of success.
A regular special shot is done while pressing B without the D-pad. The
alternate shot is done by pressing B with any direction. (The alternate shot may also be done by hitting the ball with a doubleteam flip kick at the peak of the kick.)
Each character has a specific special shot but they all have the same alternate shot.
The alternate shot arcs slowly and lands near the opposing goalie if done at
long distance. If done at medium or near distance, it quickly travels to the ground and bounces, possibly over the goalie.
