Wow. This remins me - did a short sprint during a training with a younger bloke in a very fast ski lately - he had 2 boat lengths on me 100m shy of the finish but tipped over. He was back in the ski so fast that I still had a hard time winning the race. Would have loved to see his remount on video too.
I checked the credits and got your location! The Isle of Jersey. I imagine that there are some wicked tidal currents there! Does Gonepaddling rent surfskis? I wanted to check their website but my computer insisted that I don't. Renting of surfskis seems to be fairly rare.
