Amazing job. Yeah, finding someone who is a composite-master is just astonishing. I had to get a bunch of work done on my Seaward Shadow (custom black hull, yellow top) - just like yours, you can't even tell where some of the work was done.
They're of a beautiful design and hopefully the sustainable construction methods prove durable enough to become community standard. At least we'll know you'll put the Melker, patched or unpatched, through its paces.
Wow all the way from Sweden, He probably didn't want anyone else touching it, A Craftsman would understand this lol, I hope I don't ever need this type of service but I know in the future my Stellar 16 sport will need her scratches fixed, Especially after finishing 29 solo days on the Ohio river
If you ever decide to sell it, you can advertise “better than new”. ☺️
Haha true.

Nice work! Wow! I enjoyed paddling that boat, but definitely need to try out one of the lower volume ones.

I might have to swing by and test drive one of those boats.

He was hear to your the territory. Just so happened that the timing worked out.
Thanks Dan, hope you can get the missing letters replaced too - are they just adhesive, or stenciled paint?
Already on the way.
Do you have any recommendations on fixing hobie kayaks? My tandem mirage outfitter got a small crack under the mirage drive.
That’s a very hard spot to repair. It’s always going to be vulnerable to refracting. I’ve welded many Hobie drive wells and most of them fail again.
@@HeadwatersKayak that is what hobie was telling me. Very sad but thanks for letting me know.
