Fantastisch, ich hoffe Das Team hält durch es es wird ein Erfolg. Nur mit dem Kayak erlebt man die Küste wirklich mit allen Sinnen und erreicht Orte die sonst niemand sieht. Have fun.
Hi Tom, I am pretty sure I talked to you when you were in Bern in the paddle shop. Great Video, great team! Once this is over, reserve a spot for please!
@@TomVetterl I’m busy with filmschool assignments, but I’m combining my MTB film idea with an assignment I’ll have to finish by the end of february, which I feel confident enough about to put out on UA-cam!
Hey thank you very much, glad you like it! Sure why not! Yuri is currently setting up the program for next year, would love to have you on one of their trips or trainings!
Great documentary! Beautiful people! Please keep doing what you are doing. Do not change, ever. I hope when this COVID crisis ends we will will appreciate life, freedom, and of course his beautiful planet again as I believe we were taking those for granted for way too long. Thank you for your positive message. Love you all.
Hey Patrick! Thank you so much for your kind words...! Hope you’re doing well with coping all the challenges at the moment. We can’t wait to get back out there!
The amount of parallels between us is impressive. We both: lived/live abroad, play guitar (starting at the same age), loved punk, respect nature, are totally hooked on kayaking and have a strong link with Switzerland. I just divorced last month because of my wife urged me to move to Switzerland, but I refused and stayed in Spain. I am Dutch, by the way. Oh yes, another detail; we both publish videos on UA-cam! I would be very happy to meet some day. Best regards, Jasper.
Hey Jasper! Sorry to hear about the latest developments in your relationship :/ Unfortunately, I'm not Yuri, but a very good friend of him... I'll forward your comment to him and let you know his reply... Where in Spain do you live? We wanted to go to Asturia for a week of surf sessions last summer, but it didn't work out due to, you know... Hope we can catch up on that in 2021. Keep your head up!
Great documentary. I love your part of the word and your part in it. Wish I lived closer. We're all frozen up hear, right now. I wish you the best of luck through this mess we find ourselves in.
Hello from Málaga south Spain. Keep on going, you are a fantastic group sure you'll succeed, congratulations for Moryak i hope to visit you and have a great time padelling

Hey Tom, your videos are so well filmed and edited and the soundtracks are so good and up lifting, great work and thanks for keeping the motivation alive. Such a Rad bunch of people. Cant wait to get back out on the ocean this year. Cheers dude.
Hey thanks Mike! Haha, I guess motivation is what everyone needs right now... Hope you're doing good wherever you are! If you have any chance, come on a tour with us as soon as that shit is over :)

Hey there! Sorry for my late replay :/ I think Moryak provides a great mix of touring and training. I feel like both are booked equally, but I do feel like people are very interested in doing trainings and courses to increase their seakayaking abilities.
Do you think your experience as a researcher and anthropologist helps you to make better videos? You seem to connect with people. In addition to featuring beautiful outdoors, your movies are full of kindness, pedagogy and empathy. Maybe sea kayaking is just a medium for continuing your discovery of people and their stories. Very excited to see more of it. Good luck for Morya!!
Thanks Victor, it's so great to get that kind of feedback from time to time :) Hm well, so on the one hand I'm not Yuri (unfortunately), which means that I am not an Anthropologist 🙈. But I guess my biography is not very different from Yuris, though my professional background is Project Management in the semiconductor industry. In the end I guess it is all about connecting with people, being authentic and doing something you love, share it with people you care. I think that's what I do, what Yuri does, and what Moryak stands for. I'm really happy that you like what we do here... Hope my job gives me a bit more free time soon to work on new projects 🙈

Really cool video. I hope you pandemic will finish ASAP for the sake of all sea kayakers (not only guides). Small question: Was it on 11:11 island Vis in Croatia or coast somewhere in Italy?
Hey there! Thank you! Glad you like it :) You mean the rolling clip? That was on the island Elba in Italy, wonderful coastline for kayaking! Croatia is awesome as well, but unfortunately I've never been kayaking there... Your videos look great! Ill have a closer look, when I'm done with homeoffice for today :)
@@TomVetterl Yes, the rolling clip I meant. I assumed it was somewhere on the Mediterranean but it reminded me of one exact place on the north side of island Vis. You should visit Croatian coastline as we have almost 6000 km of coast to kayak :-) There is not too much sand beaches but if you need info let me know :-)
I'm absolutely interested in kayaking Croatia :) Actually it was planned to go there in 2020... But, you know 🤷🏻♂️ I've only been there once for a road trip from Split down to Dubrovnik...
You can always contact me via UA-cam but it is much better via Facebook page "Marko Kovač Putnik Lik" to not leave my mail here. I know all Croatian coast. You can read my story in new Prijon catalogue 2021 on 11th page about "island odyssey" projects of lighthouses in Croatia
Nice film., good story. What I appreciate is your sustainable way of living. How do you think about buying gear comes from China or other far away countries ? A lot of boats, paddles, carts, helms, clothing and other stuff cause a lot of pollution by transporting all over the world. How can we bring the production back where we live and pay fair prices? When we really concern about nature we have to repair our stuff instead of buying new cheap China-ones and produce lots of litter. How can we organise this in the seakayak world? Do you have an idea to raise awareness?
Hey there, thanks for commenting! Well, thats a really good question... I think especially in Europe there are really good options for more locally sourced kayaking equipment, looking to the UK or also Poland. For example, for fitting out the MORAK Mongolia Expeditions, all kayaks/paddles came from Rebel Kayaks, who produce in Poland. Also kayak gear ist great to be repaired, at MORYAK everything is repaired rather than replaced, from boats to paddles to textiles. In terms of raising awarenes, I guess we have to talk about these things more consistently and support the local businesses we have.
