Another great review video where you take the viewer into a training room and show what the guns are capable of and then out into a random match. You also make it clear that this match you selected was a particularly good one, implying that there were lesser matches like any ship can have. The utility of different shell type and torpedoes (slow reload) seems good. But I am truly impressed with the gun reload using the F button after Adrenaline Rush kicked in. I liked the overdubbed audio rather than ingame, its a more reflective view of how the match progressed with less distracting comments about the running gameplay.

Nice video. Thx for the training room examples. Wish the torps loaded faster but not a deal breaker. It's a good boat but a bit harder to play than the standard fletcher.

Appreciate you adding the historical footnote.
I noticed some audio feedback when firing the guns.
As for Johnston, they really should've gone with a Fletcher that heals instead of a funny button. It wasn't just that she went down in a blaze of glory: it was the fact she survived the IJN fleet for so long that it took breaking all of her weapons and engines, the crew abandoning ship, and an additional 30 minutes after the abandon ship call for the IJN to sink her. If that's not a Fletcher deserving a super-heal, I don't know what is.
Torps seem like shorter-ranged Gearing torps with a significantly longer cooldown. Can't say I'm a fan of that one, considering I can pump out the same amount of torps with a Halford packing torpedo mod 2 that do more damage. They may as well be Halford torps instead of nerfed Gearing torps.
I think she'll shine in surprising DDs, cruisers, and light-armored BBs/BCs. Otherwise, heavy-armored cruisers/BBs will have to be torp and pray.
Yes, this video did seem to suffer during the portion that was not the full game from audio issues - I'm sorry about that. Not normally something that creeps into my video work.
If only SOMEONE would review the t9 frenchie speedy boiii... then maybe I'd like these videos.... egggcellent review though. You know I am in no way a DD main, but I do love me some gunboatin.... and sap *stinkface*

I've been playing it constantly since I got it, I will say Stat wise it's not much different than every fletcher in the game. The SAP burst will surprise most DD's though, and it's great for hunting down Shima's

Good video, this has been the 1 ship I have asked for in this game, I am just so disappointed they gave it a funny button instead of a good heal.

That funny button is strong but not OG Conde broken. This ship is so important it would have been nice to have the burst fire, maybe take away one rack of torps, and give it a baseline heal.
@@aerospacenewsgaming With how long it stayed in the fight I would of liked a heal more then just about anything. I would be ok trading a rack of torps for it. But maybe we will get a Johnston 2 or something

Not really impressed with the spread of the shots. It's like WG knows the funny button gimmicky ships need a nerf so why not make it fire more but hit less? Sounds like a great idea 💡 😂
