Listen the reason he just let them go is because there is so many that we will never completely get them under control throughout the islands there is millions and millions of taʻape almost anywhere on any island you go you will find taʻape
@@jakef1068 I disagree, big or small... kill em all! no offense braddah but even if you kill a few taape, it may never get rid of them for good but it will oppress them enough. For example Say that one you catch, could possibly save another endemic species or won’t give off hundreds or even thousands of offspring that could wipe out and dominate more of the reef and then it would continue to dominate all islands! Our reef are pretty delicate and prone to these invasive species that were introduced less than 100 years ago! The least we could do is oppress these invasive species till our native fish have the time to evolve into this new Predator. If these invasive species were targeted more often it would help our native fish overall. I do not mean to rain on your parade, I’m just trying to give some insight. In the end, everyone has a right to do whatever they want with that specific fish they caught!
@@palekahookano2404 hooo yups. Killing that one ta’ape, Toau, or Roi could make such a big difference, especially if it’s a mature female. The less of them on our reef the better.
*catches invasive fish "why is it all we catch is taapes" he says. proceeds to toss it back into the water Next time dont throw it back. They are wonderful pan fried. Or if you do throw it back it better be in chum/bait form.....not alive -.-
I enjoyed the fun and laughter from this video, that was definitely an Akule you guys caught, great eating fish, we caught a bunch of them on our last video, keep the adventures coming braddah ryan!
Go and watch Kimmies video about Taape. They are excellent on the table. Would have been great to eat fried with those menpachis. Not to mention they are invasive
You guys need to join Hawaii Bushcraft on IG. They make hage taco's, fried ta'ape, non-common fish that still taste good and helps to even out only taking trophy fish.
Keep da invasives Ryan! Ta'ape and to'au good food and chum. If not can throw them in the plants like the roi. The ta'ape and to'au compliment the pachis and 'āweoweo as fried fish as well. Also, when jigging for the pachis, go slow, they are more slow paced hunters hunting plankton, shrimp, etc.
Hey Ryan if u see this amazing but I just wanna say I love ur videos and in such a short time I learned so much about new tricks and improving some skills next time I go out but my name is Kaeden and I’m from kauai and am trying to better my diving skills but I just wanna say hopefully some day I could meet u and go for a dive and use some of the skills I learned from ur amazing videos hopefully u get back to me🤙🏽
Did you guys design this boat after the iconic little piece of wood that Leonardo DiCaprio clutches onto at the end of the Titanic? If so, the dimensions are spot on! 💗
Britt is one haterrrr. Maybe it just comes off as that way. But if that's how she's really like, PAU.. No need that negativity in our lives lol. just be greaful Britt.
I was cringing when he let the invasive go
Me too. 😣
Frrrllll. Like even if you’re not gonna eat em at least kill em and take it off the reef. Feed the buggah to the Aama crabs.
Me too
Keep the invasives.. eat it or give it away but dont throw it back.
Doesn't even know the basics.

Super underrate eating fish. People don’t take toau and taape enough when fishing or diving

You guys need to join Hawaii Bushcraft on IG. They make hage taco's, fried ta'ape, non-common fish that still taste good and helps to even out only taking trophy fish.
Whoa, Sam has one Green eye and one Blue eye, pretty cool!
Missed you Ryan and Sam!

Ryan’s concentration when he’s jigging 😂😂

That girl Britt at the end 🤣
Nice
Love it 👌👌👌🤙🤙🤙
I gotta come visit! Love keeping up with your adventures!!!
Nice Catch Ikan Gete gete 😀
Yeee
Why don’t you kill the invasive fish? But great video
Taape is a kind of snapper tho, you can eat um
akule is good eating
The boat top is gone ?
Ryan next time you go menpachi and Akule fishing you should use flash bombs
If anything, since he on boat he can just drop one green light down and attract all the shrimps and planktons to the boat
Yeah that too
Just use one if two guys are dropping....the dark one will be the different presentation and it really works.,..
Finally getting to see some action on the boat! I always look forward to your guys videos!

Silver mouth
She’s silently telling him to quit mansplaining
