Well, that would mean Avanti West Coast from Warrington to Birmingham, CrossCountry from Birmingham to Bournemouth, South Western Railway from Bournemouth to London Waterloo, London Underground from London Waterloo to Warren Street and then London Underground from Warren Street to King’s Cross.
Another interesting well presented video Nick, Thanks. An idea for a journey that came to mind, a train journey on the National Rail Network that would require the most number of trains and changes to complete, That is using a recognised route that a 'normal' passenger would use, and the least number of trains to complete it, not sure what such a journey would be yet, are there any journeys that would require more than 5 trains to complete? I will have a look when time permits.
Excellent run, though I had visions of Geoguessr handing you a brutal 14 hour "Penzance" to "Inverness" combo. I think there is a single CrossCountry that gets you most of the way without changing, but I expect you'd need buttocks made of clouds to pull it off.
What a brilliant idea. I want to do this myself, although I'll have to wait for the "German train stations" map to cover more than just over 100 stations.
It’s about time you could get a direct train from Ebbw Vale to Newport instead of having to go all the way to Cardiff! It might even be quicker to jump off at Pye Corner and get a bus, or even walk! If I’d done this journey I think I’d have stayed with the XC turbostar to Nottingham and then gone via Newark Castle and Lincoln. Good video! 👍🏻

That sounds like a very cool game to play I think it would have been more of a challenge if GeoGuesser had chosen Gainsborough Central as a destination
Llanhilleth is just down the road from me. I pass that station all the time. I'm surprised they put a nice train on for you - it's always a real surprise what train type they're runner each day! It might actually be easier than you think The once a day 13hr cross country frim Penzance to Inverness or Aberdeen (I forgot) Then a Scot rail to wick
Have you done railway lines and railway stations in the Republic of Ireland such doing Limerick Junction to Limerick. And maybe you should do Windsor & Eton Central to Windsor & Eton Riverside via London Paddington and London Waterloo.
hey nick, the reason the first class is declassified is because tfw are sending most of there 170s over to east midlands railway so its in preparation for the transfer

Out of curiosity i just went on geoguessr, not sure the 25 minute journey from Enfield Town to Hackney Downs would make for an enthralling video......🤣
Great fun Nick and as below, a wonderful chat-up line. It wouldn't have worked with my wife though. Changing the subject. Having just spent a day on the Newcastle Metro I spotted Chichester, I live in Sussex so the city of Chichester in West Sussex is Snap !!! How about Chichester to Chichester ? Take care, enjoy your travels and thanks for taking me along. Robert
Good video, also Gainsborough has 2 stations Lea Road and Central so that could b an idea for a future pointless journey video Gainsborough Central to Lea Road or the other way round.
Enjoyed your Warrington area videos. I used to work there and latterly lived close to Navigation Road in Altrincham. If your Geo guesser takes you near Nairn in Scotland let me know!
Watching your videos has made me want to do a pointless journey between the two airports where I live, Tenerife North to Tenerife South. No direct flights to cover to 70km distance.
@FMP346 Ah, it appears you did a video similar to this before I did. If it'd been the inspiration, I'd definitely have left credit, but I had no idea your video existed until just now. Purely coincidental! 🙂
Probably take 6 hours to Cardiff when the ebbw vale service is replaced by a bus there has been a lot of work going on the line with new platforms at newbridge and llanhilleth some years ago took me 15 hours risca to Inverness
"Do you want to come to Llanhilleth with me?"... Now THAT'S an unexpected chat-up line!

Nice journey and love the pointless Journeys gags in this one. But a nice journey that GeoGuessr decided
You both make a great double act and compliment each other so well. Glad all the connections worked out on your mammoth journey!
Perhaps you should consider adding a third geoguess station as a “via”, so for example: Warrington to Kings Cross via Bournemouth.
@simonsv9449, why change at Warren Street? In fact, why use the tube at all?
Walk up to Waterloo East and the change for Thameslink at London Bridge.

Everyone thinks 2 hours on a 170 is bad but Scotrail operate 170’s between Glasgow queen street and Inverness via Aberdeen which takes 5hr 30
didnt hull trains have 170s when it was new?
The Harrogate Line gets 170’s and they’re bad enough for my half an hour commute
