Rhett definitely wanted taco bell to take the win from the beginning... I used to be there too. But the quality of their food and portions have went down significantly
And that price has gone up so ridiculously from what it used to be that there's probably not any other fast food place that compares in that regard either. They charge nearly 6 dollars for a nacho bell grande now...thing was like half that 6 or 7 years ago. And it's half as much food now...lol

I feel like they should be doing these restaurant comparisons without knowing which is which, just an unbiased gut-check type deal.
Yeah they really need to do these blind, both Rhett and Link get influenced too much from knowing what’s what.
The tricky part would be for items that don’t match up exactly, like the crunchwrap vs crunchtada.
It’s impossible to do a Taco Bell taste test blind. The moment you take a bite you know which one is Taco Bell, whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing. It’s a very distinctive palette.
I worry that a lot of people want all of their shows to become the same show. This isn't meant to be an objective "which place is better" show, it's just an excuse to compare and contrast (and eat a lot of food). Everyone wants every show to be a blindfolded gut check taste test (with a Josh version that would win literally every time). I like that they differ. Plus, the way food looks really does affect how you feel about it.

I worked in a small town Del Taco in their huge expansion in 1979 and 80 best stuff I ever had unfortunately I knew we were done when I handed a burrito to a s*** kicker in a pickup truck and he backed up and asked me am I supposed to eat the cardboard this is wrapped up in (meaning the flour Tortilla)
As an arkansas native I’ve never had del taco & I would take a plane for that del taco breakfast burrito 😂
Having moved to Winston-Salem from San Diego, as a teen, in 1969 we couldn't get any taco fixin's. NONE. My grandmother had to send care-packages of taco tortillas, spices and sauce.
