He is a secure man, (me- anxious attachment) and in the past, I was dating huge texters but no actions. I have learned so much meeting this person in my life :) very grateful.
Sabrina you’re the reason why I stopped expecting daily texting. I realised it created a false sense of intimacy. So now I set my boundaries early on. He’s dating multiple people but I can’t once I like someone. So I told him let’s just text to plan dates and focus our dates to get to know each other. I’m not going to get a different outcome unless I change my ways. Which I finally did. So thank you 🙏

The problem is that internet dating opens you to LDRs. And limiting yourself geographically may be settling. Thus starting out to probe another person's character and worth through texting can be extremely useful and avoids pursuing the wrong LDR. Two high value people can maintain substantive discussions through texting. And it's hybrid of talking and writing where some very revealing information can be gleaned. A two hour text session once a day with no other check ins can definitely be productive of connection, trust, investment etc.

URGENT QUESTION: i have been seeing someone for about a month... all was great, even slept over at their place a few times, shared some personal things etc... but there has been a shift in the last 2 weeks. Other than their shift in texting (which i get, dont put much focus on that anymore thnx to Sabrina) then there was also a shift in meeting: from meeting about twice per week, in the past 2 weeks or so we seem to be meeting once per week, and not cuz of me. NOTE: we live like a 15 minute walk from each other. Any thoughts??? Am i looking too much into it? Any red flags? Do i need to give it more time?
