yeah you get to have fun tearing and smashing it apart destructively, whereas if you had to put it back together you have to carefully remove each part with the proper tools and without damaging them

It always amaze me how in my coutry (Italy) most cars - even new ones - are immediately covered in marks, scuffs, beaten up and mechanically unattended somehow somewhere while, in UK, you find that most cars have mostly healty/preserved bodies and in good shape despite mechanical issues given mostly by age and wear.
Ok, stop mucking about and do a stripped out series with a leader board. This is way more interesting than supercar stuff.

I'm a subscriber to a channel named Hubnut. It showed up at a car show a month ago or so and Hubnut was there filming his video on the show in general. So it appears to have been successful.

My wife had one of these a few years ago and although it's not the coolest car on the road it was a great workhorse and super reliable and we almost regret selling it.

@@haijyvelho He's going to be more than 90kg, I'm slightly shorter and in reasonable shape (ie. no beer gut) but nowhere near as bulky as Gareth and I'm 94kg. I'd expect he's over 100kg

Another issue no one talks about is overpopulation...
Well...we already hv 7.5 billion ppl on the planet! most scientists agree ~2 billion is the carrying cap of humans... with respect to all other sentient beings. We are way over carrying capacity.... besides latest ipcc report says we only hv 10 yrs to stop runaway climate chaos! Meaning if we all dont change our lifestyles everyones kids are fkd! You know I already decided Not to hv kids! Having one kid is a lifetime of carbon emissions! And if your kids have kids that multiple generations...
So 2 billion is a cap considering all earths species, with regard to habitat and space needed for survival. For example wolves need about 100acres of land each, for hunting/survival. On avg they generally run 20-35miles per day!! And thats just one animal... with habitat destruction, human sprawl and hunting/trapping, animals have less and less areas to survive. Thats why most are going extinct today.
Very last white male rhino died last yr! Many shark species are considered extinct today cuz of shark fin soup fishing. N America used to hv about 60million buffalo... now we have like 31,000. We shot them all to destroy native americans' main food source! There are pics of stacked piles of buffalo bones 2 stories high... humans destroy everything!!! Everything! Not even exaggerating! N america used to look like yellowstone nat park.... all of it!! Moose, big horn sheep, elk, deer, wolves, buffalo, bald eagles, all kinds of hawks, bears everywhere, mtn lions, honey badgers, river otters, wolverines, etc etc. Why do u think thousands of ppl travel to yellowstone every yr. My friend got a micra super s. 1.3L engine, primera disc brakes stock, stripped interior, straight pipes and the springs are long gone. It's the most fun car I've ever driven
I had a 1993 1.3 3 door micra, that thing was faaaast!. Great gear shift and easy to fix when anything went wrong. Handled poorly though, but with abit of work it could kill quite afew warm hatches on circuit. And on motorway it often surprised people in fancier looking larger engined clios etc. 114mph top speed.

Thing about removing all the weight specifically with the hood and whatnot is that it creates a lot of drag which will slow you down.
Hey, Car Throttle Guys, you've missed to get dash trim(includes A/C motor, glove box and things don't need in circit.) and two rear glasses, rear trim lights out. So, it should be a missing chance to reduce weight of car, which could make your Spacestar slowly. Plus, lowering suspensions by using common tools should increase downforce and lowering Center of gravity, which make more faster and increase handling.
I'd like to see an attempt to put it back together. The resulting product would be quite funny I feel.

Do some more mods to it. Maybe add a little 90degree intale pipe with velocity stack on it(like honda engine bay tuners do) maybe a couple degrees of more timing, and removing front dash would help more? Also why you lock your wheels up while braking? Threshold braking is way better.

Shaving off 3 seconds of a 0-60 time is est. the time a real sportscar needs from 0-60. its pretty impressive.
Considering my e90 330xd has like 1800kg I wonder how much a weight reduction could shave off the 5,2 sec it has right now.

I saw a video of a guy with an e46, if I remember correctly. Stripped the interior, about 300 lbs and was .8s faster i think.

Ahh, Curborough raceway... Had a crash there once in an MR2. Came round the first corner off of the start bend, back end stepped out and over corrected it, hit the grass and the wheel buckled underneath. Also the first time I ever got to drive a kit car, Vindicator Sprint that thing shifted.
