as a Swede with finnish and norwegian heritage I feel so happy for their amazement and happy talks about the north, I am used to it but this makes me feel joy over my home countrys! I have family in both Norway, FInland and Sweden!
Even though I've seen these before, I appreciate it being put into movie format. This was an epic trip and t9 be able to take your sister along makes it that much more memorable!
Im happy I found your channel Downie. You've reinvigorated my sense of wanderlust with your passion for everything you do and the places you go. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
the most unique, oldest, nicest way to travel is by train. The way how you show it in this video is breathtaking. Norway, u are a country that's in my personal top 3 country's i want to visit. Thanks to u! How increddible! that u don't have a million followers, i don't know. but with me from this day on, your closer to the million buddy! Greetings from the Netherlands!
Crying at the end 😭 I lost my baby brother who was my travel buddy and your beautiful video reminded me of all the fun times we had together. Whether it was rocking out in the car, going to a Hollywood premiere, getting lost in a random city, or staying home the memories we made were everything. They are everything because it’s all that I have left of my brother. I wish we had more time together bud 💙 love you. Thank you Mike ❤
Shelby I feel your pain. I to lost my little brother. We were best friends. Its like our brothers took a giant piece of our hearts with them. Its been quite a few years ago, for me. It still doesn't matter, I miss him everyday and wish for him to be here every day, as I know you are. I guess I just wanted to let you know your not alone in your pain. Im with you.
10:42 _"When did they attach car trailers to the back of our train?"_ - In Pasila, the first stop right after leaving Helsinki central station. There's a car-carrier station there where the cars are loaded and the trailers are connected during the stop there.
Even though I'd seen these before, I'm so glad that they were reposted as a single video. I just received some bad news and you guys cheered me up when I really needed it. I love your videos because they let me see the world. I can't afford to travel and following you and several other tubers are what make my life just a little nicer. I don't know where you're going next, but I want to be with you! Thanks again for some great videos!
I adore the relationship between you and your sister. I just found out 5 years ago (when i was 55) that i have a sister. The adventures with her are priceless. Keep making those memories
I am from Svolvær in Lofoten, did my bachelor's in computer science and engineering in Narvik, live close to Oslo now and ate waffles with brunost today. I watched the video with road trains through Australia today as the first ever video of this channel, and now found my home region here. The world is small.
I have to be honest, Mike, I am a Railfan, through and through. The only videos of yours that I have watched are the ones where you take a train somewhere (although I DID watch the Road Train video from Australia). All of the videos of yours that I have watched so far are 100% top-notch entertainment. So thanks for all of your hard work! Now then….how about taking another train to somewhere else exciting? Thanks, Mike! 👍
When I worked on cruise ships, I was lucky enough to be based out of Stockholm for several cruises. We did Scandinavian / Baltic cruises. Norway is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, Olden and Flam in particular. I loved riding the train in Flam. We stopped at the waterfall and then a little hotel where they gave us coffee / tea / mini fresh made waffles with cloudberry jam. Amazing!
That was absolutely awesome! Thank you - wow wow wow - that Via Ferata - are you both insane?! I couldn't even watch that bit! I'm blown away by the entire trip, the sights, the surfinig, your sister, the trains, the cities - thank you!! And Happy 2025!
I appreciate you putting this as a full series. I've seen the first video before when i was doing research. And i either missed it was part of a series or forgot to come back and finish. Its a lovely hour to spend "with you"

So wonderful to watch your adventures around the globe. Some of the locations I may see in my lifetime and to see them all through your lens is fantastic.
Great content, incredible sights. My sister and I just went on our first trip out of the US together to London. We don’t have to be “up” around each other the whole time, since we know each other so well, which I think is a huge plus. Love seeing you and Jess as travel companions. And I like that she saves some of the plans as surprises!
Nice video. I have been to western Europe but not the Nordic part, on three Eurail self guided tours, four motorcoach tours, and one business trip since I was in high school in '77. Your vids and others refresh those memories!
