    I wasn't sure how much impact this was because I was having an emotional flashback and feeling really tense but I've gone from a 10 to a 6 or a 7 I am feeling more relaxed and I noticed that I started yawning about halfway through which is a sign of the autonomic nervous system relaxing. Thank you so much I'm going to save this to one of my playlists now ❤

      I’m glad you were able to tap the intensity down to a lower level. Yes, yawning, tearing, giggling etc. are all signs you are moving some energy and relaxing the nervous system.

    Hi there, I noticed you tapped only one side for temple and cheek under the eye. Do I need to do both sides or does it matter? -thanks!! Lovely video and you have a beautiful voice to guide through it :)

    • @MindshiftWithLauren
      @MindshiftWithLauren  2 місяці тому

      Hi Sonia! You can do both sides or just one. Whichever feels best for you. A lot of my clients prefer doing both at the same time - they say it helps them feel even! But, remember there is no wrong way of tapping! I'm sending all the healing energy your way!

    Would it also work for someone who has it's true self burried deep under a shell created by he's ego, in order to prevent him from veing his true self and having access to his own desires, mental abilities, creativity?

      @MindshiftWithLauren  Місяць тому

      Yes. Tapping helps you peel back the proverbial layers of the onion to get to your personal truth.

    Thank you for this, I am starting to feel a bit better! Question, since I am very new to tapping: does the timing matter? Like, how long you tap in a certain area, or the ratio of tapping in different places vs others? Thanks in advance!

    • @MindshiftWithLauren
      @MindshiftWithLauren  9 місяців тому +1

      There is no wrong way to tap. You can linger one one point longer than others if you like. Typically I stay on a point for however long it takes me to complete the reminder phrase.

    Thank you so much! This is a totally new concept to me, I’ve never heard of it until I stumbled upon this video. I don’t remember what it’s like to not be anxious at all. I’m in therapy for ptsd and try to limp along with as little pharmaceutical intervention as possible. So, this technique has just opened a whole new door for me. My normal state is a 5-6/10, just a few seconds in the tears started flowing. At the end it’s a 2. Thank you ❤

      Most likely there are other emotions under the surface that need to be addressed. We’ve had so many experiences that have emotions attached to them, so we need to hold space for those emotions so that we can get to the root of what is really going on.

      Hi Jessica! I would definitely encourage tapping on a daily basis. But it’s important to also tap on the events/ memories/ experiences that are contributing to your activated state. I offer free consultations if you want to talk in more detail about your situation.
